Riyadh Masters 2025: format, schedule, results, and tournament bracket
Riyadh Masters 2025 - is a Dota 2 tournament held as part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 08.07.2025 to 19.07.2025. Sixteen teams will compete for a total prize pool of $3,000,000.
The tournament will be divided into three stages. In the first, the participants will be split into four groups, where they will play each other in a Round-robin system. The 12 best teams will advance to the second stage (Gauntlet format). The eight strongest teams will compete in the playoffs (Single Elimination).
Group stage matches will be played in a Bo2 format, while playoff matches will be Bo3, with a Bo5 grand final.
Game Day 10 Results (19.07.2025):
Two matches took place today on the final day of competition. In the first series, PARIVISION faced Tundra Esports in the third-place match. As a result, PVISION secured a confident 2–0 victory, while Tundra Esports finished the tournament in fourth place.
The second match was the grand final. Team Spirit comfortably defeated Team Falcons 3–0 and became the champion of this tournament series for the second time in its history.
Results of previous match days:
Day 1
Group A
Group A featured Natus Vincere, Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, and Flipster Talon. Spirit drew with XG, while NAVI shared points with Flipster Talon. As a result, no clear leader emerged at the end of the match day.
Group B
A similar situation unfolded in Group B: Team Falcons tied their series against Execration 1-1, and BetBoom Team split the points with Gaimin Gladiators. No group leader was determined here either.
Group C
In Group C, Tundra Esports and Aurora Gaming got off to a confident start. Both teams secured clean victories: Tundra defeated Virtus.pro, while Aurora beat Team Yandex. Both matches ended 2-0.
Group D
In the final group, Team Liquid started strong, taking the win against Shopify Rebellion. The second series was played between PARIVISION and Heroic, with the former claiming victory. However, the South American team put up a decent fight on the second map.
Day 2
Group A
In Group A, Natus Vincere and Team Spirit both finished their matches with 2-0 victories and now share the top two spots in the standings, preparing to face each other tomorrow. Meanwhile, Xtreme Gaming and Flipster Talon are trailing, with only one map win each over the course of two days.
Group B
A similar scenario is unfolding in Group B: Gaimin Gladiators secured a confident win over Execration, while BetBoom Team showed excellent form, defeating Team Falcons 2-0. Now Falcons find themselves in a tough position and risk missing out on the playoffs, potentially dropping into the second group stage phase.
Group C
In Group C, Tundra Esports and Aurora Gaming played to a draw and hold the top two spots. Meanwhile, Virtus.pro continue to struggle, losing 0-2 to Team Yandex and dropping both maps decisively. As a result, regardless of the remaining matches, Virtus.pro will proceed to the second stage of the group phase.
Group D
In Group D, Team Liquid firmly claimed the lead without dropping a single map, and today they crushed PARIVISION 2-0. At the same time, Heroick also secured a 2-0 victory against Shopify Rebellion, drawing level with PARIVISION on points. Shopify remain at the bottom of the group without a single win so far.
Day 3
Group A
Team Spirit defeated Natus Vincere 2–0, secured first place in Group A, and advanced to the playoffs, while Natus Vincere will head to the second round of the group stage’s next phase. In the parallel match, Flipster Talon and Xtreme Gaming drew 1–1 and will continue competing in the second stage of the group phase.
Group B
BetBoom Team secured a convincing 2–0 victory over Execration and earned a direct spot in the playoffs. Gaimin Gladiators, after a draw with Team Falcons, finished second and will advance to the second round of the Gauntlet stage. Alongside them, Team Falcons and Execration will also continue their run in the second phase.
Day 4
Group C
Aurora Gaming confidently defeated Virtus.pro, winning the series 2-0, while Tundra Esports also beat Team Yandex with the same score. At the end of the group stage, Aurora and Tundra had the same number of points, which led to a tiebreaker match. In the additional game, Aurora Gaming proved stronger and secured a direct spot in the playoffs. Thus, Tundra, Yandex, and Virtus.pro advance to the second stage.
Group D
Today both matches in Group D ended with a score of 1-1. PARIVISION split points with Shopify Rebellion, while Team Liquid drew with Heroic. Thanks to better stats, Team Liquid took first place in the group and advances directly to the playoffs. However, Heroic and PARIVISION had the same number of points, and after the tiebreaker matches PARIVISION secured a victory and advanced to the second round of the second stage.
Day 5
On the fifth day of play all matches ended with a 2:0 score.
Xtreme Gaming defeated Execration, Team Yandex easily overcame Shopify Rebellion and Flipster Talon also confidently beat Heroic.
In the final match of the day Team Falcons faced Virtus.Pro. There were no surprises in this matchup either, Falcons won 2:0. It is worth noting that Virtus.Pro finished the tournament without a single victory and many point out the team’s poor performance predicting possible roster changes.
Day 6
The sixth day of competition went by without much intrigue, as all matches ended 2-0.
PARIVISION easily defeated Xtreme Gaming, Gaimin Gladiators eliminated Team Yandex from the tournament, and Tundra Esports confidently closed their series against Flipster Talon in a parallel match.
In the final match of the day, Team Falcons faced Natus Vincere. Despite NaVi’s improving form, Team Falcons proved stronger and secured a 2-0 victory. As a result, Xtreme Gaming, Team Yandex, Flipster Talon, and Natus Vincere leave the tournament, each earning $75,000 in money prize.
After a few days break, the playoff stage of the tournament will begin.
Day 7
Following today's matches, Gaimin Gladiators and Aurora Gaming were eliminated from the tournament. Their opponents, Team Spirit and PARIVISION, will face off in a series for a spot in the grand final. Tomorrow, two more contenders for a slot in the ultimate battle will be determined, while the losers will end their run at the tournament.
Day 8
In today's matches for a place in the semifinals, Tundra Esports managed to defeat BetBoom Team, while Team Falcons surprisingly easily eliminated Team Liquid. Tomorrow, the two teams that will compete in the grand final will be determined.
Day 9
Today, both participants of the grand final were determined. Team Spirit defeated PARIVISION, while Team Falcons beat Tundra Esports in the semifinals. Tomorrow, PARIVISION will play against Tundra in the match for third place, and Spirit will face Falcons in the ultimate battle.
