Shad's team denied entry to DreamLeague Season 30 qualifiers

Dawn Bulls, the team featuring Indji Shad Lub, has been denied entry to the open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 30. The reason is regional restrictions: the roster does not have three players representing the same region. The player shared this information on his X account.

According to Shad, two members of the team are from Western Europe, two from Southeast Asia, and one from Eastern Europe. As a result, Dawn Bulls does not meet the eligibility requirements to compete in the qualifiers in any region.

I understand why the rules are enforced so strictly, as there have been issues with this in the past. But in the end, we're not allowed to compete in any region, and that seems unfair.

Meanwhile, the team successfully advanced through the open qualifiers for BLAST Slam IX before winning the closed qualifiers as well, securing a place in the tournament's main stage.

The open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 30 take place from 09.10.2026 to 12.10.2026. The main stage is scheduled from 02.12.2026 to 13.12.2026, with 24 teams competing for a $750,000 prize pool and 21,100 EPT points.

Earlier, CyberScore reported which teams had received invitations to the closed qualifiers for the tournament.
