History

Natus Vincere - is a Ukrainian esports organization that formed her first roster in the DotA Allstars in October 2010. A few months later, it invited two key players of another well-known team in the CIS from DTS Dota - Ivan ArtStyle Antonov and Danylo Dendi Ishutin. Shortly before the announcement of The International 2011, Clement Puppey Ivanov and another former DTS player, Dmitry LightOfHeaven Kupriyanov, also joined the team.

The five became the first TI champions and for several years were among the strongest teams in Dota 2. After winning TI1, the team reached the finals of the main tournament of the year twice in 2012 and 2013. After TI4, Puppey left the team. The team's successes declined - although they entered The International and majors, they did not take high places there.

In the following years, the organization tried to regain its former greatness by experimenting with players: domestic "stars" came and went: fngVANSKORSoNNeikOGeneRaL, and foreign "legionnaires": Pajkatt, Biver, LeBron. Unfortunately, the team failed to get higher than 13-16th place at The International 2015 and 2016.

After two failed seasons and failure to qualify for The International 2017 and 2018, a significant event took place - the new team did not include Dendi, who had been playing for NAVI since 2010. Fresh blood made it possible to qualify for The International 2019 and take 13-16th place, but to this day the team's play can be called unstable, which means that experiments and changes will continue.

In 2023, the team again signed a roster of young players who will play for the team this season: Maxim shigetsu Popadinets, Maxim mellojul Pnev, Dmytro nefrit Tarasich, Tamir daze Tokpanov, Arman Malady Orazbayev.

Later Zayac joined the team. With this lineup the guys tried their hand at qualifying for such tournaments as DreamLeague Season 22, ESL One Birmingham 2024, DreamLeague Season 23 and PGL Wallachia Season 1. In March 2024, shigetsu and mellojul were replaced by Yuragi and sanctity- and in May, the team participated at DreamLeague Season 23 where they placed 12th. Later NaVi tried to qualify for Riyadh Masters 2024, The International 2024, Elite League Season 2 and PGL Wallachia Season 2, but were unsuccessful. At the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational roster took 4th place.

  • September 23, 2024 - A new updated NAVI roster with Puppey, BOOM and bzm appeared on FACEIT.

In early October, the team still received a direct invitation to PGL Wallachia Season 2, where they showed a great result: the squad was defeated by Tundra Esports in the semifinals of the lower bracket and finished in fourth place.

On October 24, 2024, Natus Vincere moved its Dota 2 roster to inactive, but in November, the PuckChamp roster became NaVi's main roster and participated in ESL One Bangkok 2024, but failed to advance past the group stage. In March, the team participated in PGL Wallachia Season 3, but they also failed to reach the Playoff stage.

In May, Philipp Copy Bühler replaced Sukhbat sanctity- Otgondavaa, who has been benched and put up for transfer.

In June 2025, it became known that starting from July 1, the main roster would be disbanded, and all players would be transfer listed, and Navi Junior will become the new main roster.

On June 28, 2025, Natus Vincere took part in PGL Wallachia Season 5, the team lost in the lower bracket quarterfinals and finished the tournament in 5th–6th place.

In July 2025, Natus Vincere exited Riyadh Masters 2025, finishing in 9th place and earning $75,000 in prize money. In 2025, the team qualified for The International 2025 but couldn’t reach the playoffs and finished the tournament in 14th place.

On September 26, former Gaimin Gladiators coach Aske Cy- Larsen became the coach of the main roster of Natus Vincere. The team started the new season with BLAST SLAM IV, but failed to advance beyond the group stage, as they did in PGL Wallachia Season 6.

At the beginning of December, Natus Vincere competed in BLAST Slam V finishing 5–6th after reaching the tournament playoffs. At DreamLeague Season 27, the team finished its performance in the group stage, with a score of 3-3.

At the beginning of February 2026, the team competed at BLAST SLAM VI, where they took second place, losing to Team Liquid in the grand final. At the following DreamLeague Season 28NaVi finished 9th-10th, being eliminated in the group stage, as well as on PGL Wallachia Season 7.
