Tundra Esports is a British esports organization founded in 2019. The club unveiled its first Dota 2 roster in January 2021, signing the European mixed roster mudgolems, consisting of Oliver skiter Lepko, Leon Nine Kirilin, Neta 33 Shapira, Malte Biver Winter, and Adrian Fata Trinks.

2021

The team’s debut season passed without any major results, but even then, Tundra was considered one of the most difficult teams to face in Europe thanks to the unconventional drafts and playstyle of Nine and 33.

The turning point of the season was their victory at ESL One Fall 2021. It was after this tournament that Tundra began to be seen as a legitimate contender for the top spots on the Tier 1 scene.

The team’s main goal remained The International 2021, but they failed to qualify. In the final of the Western European qualifier, Tundra lost to OG 2–3 and fell just short of a trip to the world championship.

2022

Before the start of the new season, the roster underwent its first major changes: Fata and Biver left the team, and their spots were filled by Martin Saksa Sazdov and Jingjun Sneyking Wu. It was this very roster that would later go on to win the championship.

Throughout the season, Tundra consistently reached the late stages of major tournaments and qualified for The International 2022 via DPC points. At the championship itself, the team played nearly flawlessly: they finished the group stage undefeated and lost only one map in the playoffs.

In the grand final, the team confidently defeated Team Secret 3–0 to claim the tournament title. Following their victory, many teams began adapting Tundra’s strategies to their own playstyles, and 33’s drafts and gameplay became one of the season’s main talking points.

2023

After their championship season, the team’s results declined noticeably, and their only major victories of the year were the online tournaments BetBoom Universe Ep.1 and DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division I, each with a prize pool of less than $200,000.

Toward the fall, the roster changed: Topias Topson Taavitsainen took over the mid lane, while Nine moved to the fourth position. Despite the high-profile transfer, Tundra’s performance at The International 2023 ended in failure.

After the tournament, the championship roster effectively fell apart: skiter, 33, Nine and Sneyking left the organization. The only player remaining on the roster was Topson.

2024

Tundra began the new season with a completely revamped roster built around Topias Topson Taavitsainen and Matthew Whitemon Filmon.

The team included Ivan Pure~ Moskalenko, Ivan MinD_ContRoL Ivanov, and Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, and coach David MoonMeander Tan later joined the roster.

MinD_ContRoL didn’t stay long and soon left the team, and for the first few months, the team competed with Tobias Tobi Buchner. However, ahead of ESL One Birmingham 2024, Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev joined the club, and with him, Tundra reached the top 3 of the tournament.

With this roster, the team advanced to the lower bracket finals of The International 2024, where they lost to Gaimin Gladiators in the match to advance to the grand final.

After TI13, two champions returned to the team—Saksa and 33, — and Yegor Nightfall Grigorenko became the new carry; with them, the team took second place at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and BLAST SLAM I.

At the end of the year, the roster changed again, finally settling around midlaner Bozhidar bzm Bogdanov and carry Anton dyrachyo Shkredov.

2025

In 2025, Tundra could be called the true “kings” of BLAST Slam — the team won four consecutive seasons of the tournament.

The start of the season was extremely successful for Tundra: the team won FISSURE PLAYGROUND and also took second place at DreamLeague Season 25 and PGL Wallachia Season 3.

Shortly thereafter, Shkredov left the roster, and his spot was taken by Remko Crystallis Arets.

Despite the changes, the team’s results remained nearly unchanged. Tundra continued to regularly reach the late stages of Tier 1 tournaments and also took second place at Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi.

At The International 2025, Tundra posted an average performance, and almost immediately after the tournament, Saksa and Crystallis left the organization; their spots were filled by Matthew Ari Walker and Pure~, who joined on a full-time contract.

2026

Tundra kicked off the new season with a victory at ESL One Birmingham 2026, defeating Team Yandex 3–1 in the grand final.

However, at PGL Wallachia Season 8, due to visa issues, the team competed without Ivan Pure~ Moskalenko and finished in last place—one of the organization’s worst results in several years. This was followed by a 5th–6th place finish at DreamLeague Season 29 and a 9th–10th place finish at BLAST SLAM VII.

Before the start of the year’s major tournaments, it was announced that Tundra Esports had disbanded its Dota 2 roster. The roster was sold to 1WIN Team. Tundra ceased its esports operations and became a media outlet.
