Team Yandex is an esports team owned by the Russian IT company "Yandex", founded in the summer of 2025 with the support of the "Yandex Market" service. Vladislav Kuzmenko, the company’s head of sports marketing, was appointed project lead, and Team Spirit manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov helped assemble the roster.

The club’s first roster consisted of the former Cyber Goose lineup, which included Alexey Solo Berezin, Aibek TA2000 Tokayev, Evgeny Noticed Ignatenko, Ilya CHIRA_JUNIOR Chirtsov, and Alexey prblms Parshukov. Alexander Accell Litvinenko became the team’s coach, while Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev joined the organization as an ambassador.

2025

The team’s debut season was mixed. The roster failed to achieve strong results in Tier 1 tournaments, prompting the organization to begin restructuring the roster midway through the year.

In the second half of the year, Solo and CHIRA_JUNIOR left the team, and Alimzhan watson Islambekov, Arman Malady Orazbaev, and Martin Saksa Sazdov—who initially joined as a substitute from Tundra Esports but ended up staying with the team — became part of the new roster.

The revamped roster began showing results almost immediately, taking third place at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, and later the team reached the grand final of BLAST SLAM V, losing to Tundra, for which Saksa had previously played.

The highlight of the year was their victory at DreamLeague Season 27, where the team earned a spot thanks to their win at DreamLeague S27 Division 2 Stage 1.

2026

Starting in 2026, Team Yandex continued to regularly reach the late stages of major tournaments. The team’s first test was FISSURE Universe: Episode 8, where they finished in the top 3.

Their next major success was their victory at PGL Wallachia Season 7, where the team competed with Dmitry DM Dorokhin, who was filling in for Evgeny Noticed Ignatenko. Following this successful performance, rumors began to circulate that the player would be permanently added to the main roster.

Later, the team reached the grand final of ESL One Birmingham 2026, this time fielding their main roster with Evgeny Noticed Ignatenko, but lost to Tundra Esports with a score of 1:3.

At PGL Wallachia Season 8 and BLAST SLAM VII, TY once again competed with DM, who had replaced Noticed on a permanent basis. Although the roster struggled at Wallachia, the team secured a convincing victory at SLAM.

Thanks to these successful results, Team Yandex cemented its place among the world’s strongest teams and received direct invitations to the Esports World Cup 2026 and The International 2026.
