Gaimin Gladiators is a cybersports organization from Canada. The first Dota 2 roster consisted of players from the Team Tickles mix.
The team consisted of Dyrachyo, Boom, Ace, tOfu, and Seleri. The first tournament for the team was DreamLeague Seasosn 16 WEU, where the team took the first place, beating Team Liquid in the final with a score of 3:1 Next came Dota 2 Champions League 2022 Season 7, in which they managed to take the 3rd place, losing to the winner of the tournament HellRaisers.
The next performance was the spring round of the 2021/2022 DPC League Western Europe season, where GG took 2nd place, which allowed them to get a ticket to ESL One Stockholm Major 2022.
At the end of 2022, the team underwent a reshuffle: BOOM. lineup mider left, and Quinn took his place. They also changed the coach ImmortalFaith to Cy-.
Gaimin Gladiators had a resoundingly successful season with their new roster, taking first place at Lima Major 2023, Berlin Major 2023 and Bali Major 2023. At all three tournaments, GG faced Team Liquid in the finals. For their success at the majors, the team received an invitation to The International 2023.
Gaimin Gladiators started their journey to TI 12 with a lower playoff bracket. Gradually advancing through the tournament grid, GG reached the final of the lower bracket, where they faced LGD Gaming and defeated the Chinese team 2-0. In the grand finals, the team faced Team Spirit, but lost to the TI 10 champions with a score of 3:0, taking 2nd place in the tournament. The year 2023 for the team ended with participation in ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, where GG got there by direct invitational. At the end of the tournament, the team took 2nd place, losing to Azure Ray in the grand finals of the tournament with a score of 3:2.
The start of the 2024 season was not so successful for the Gladiators. First fifth place at Betboom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22 and Elite League 2024, and then 12th at ESl One Birmingham 2024 and 7th at PGL Wallachia Season 1. However, the team managed to place 2nd at DreamLeague Season 23 and the 1win Series Summer. And at the Riyadh Masters 2024 , the team picked up its first win in nine months to earn $1,500,000. In September of the same year, the team went to The International 2024, where they had previously received a direct invitation. The guys got to the grand finals, where they met Team Liquid, but lost the meeting with a score of 3-0, taking an honorable second place at the tournament.
In October, the team competed at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and DreamLeague Season 24, but was one of the first to be eliminated from both tournaments. The team later failed to qualify for ESL One Bangkok 2024 and finished 3rd at the 1win Series Dota 2 Fall. After that, GG competed at BLAST SLAM I, finishing in the top 6, and in February 2025, the team placed 9th at the FISSURE PLAYGROUND and was a finalist for BLAST SLAM II, but lost to Tundra Esports, finishing in second place in the tournament.
On February 15, Seleri left the main roster of Gaimin Gladiators, and his place was taken by Arman Malady Orzbayev. The updated roaster placed 12th at DreamLeague Season 25 and 7th-8th at PGL Wallachia: Season 3.
In March 2025, Gaimin Gladiators participated in FISSURE Universe Ep.4, where the team reached the grand final but was unable to claim the championship title, finishing in 2nd place.
- On April 20, 2025, Malady officially joined the team, having previously played on loan.
On May 6, the team participated in BLAST SLAM III, finishing their run in the semifinals and placing 3rd–4th. At DreamLeague Season 26, GG finished in 5th place. Also in the summer, the team took 2nd place at PGL Wallachia Season 5.
In early July, the team participated in FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, where they performed poorly and failed to reach the playoff stage.
At the Riyadh Masters 2025 tournament, Gaimin Gladiators reached the playoff stage but lost their first match and exited the competition, finishing in 7th–8th place.
On August 2, 2025, Gaimin Gladiators were eliminated from Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi. The team finished in 5th place and earned $43,750.
In August, the organization announced its withdrawal from The International 2025 due to internal conflict within the roster.
On September 17, Quinn Quinn Callahan announced that he is retiring from his career and leaving Gaimin Gladiators.
