History

Aurora Gaming, a Russian-Serbian organization that is known for its CS:GO (CS2) roster, has announced the signing of ex-Talon Esports players. The club announced the Dota 2 roster for the first time, where Nyengnara 23savage Tiramahanon, Anucha Jabz Jirawong, Chan Oli Chon Kin, and Worawit Q Mekchai have joined. Compared to the last Talon Esports lineup, only 1 reshuffle in the current Aurora Gaming lineup, instead of Raflai Mikoto Fatur now Armel Armel Paul Thebios.

The lineup made its debut at the closed qualification for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. There Aurora Gaming took the 4th place and did not get to the main part of the tournament.

The next tournament for the team was the closed qualification for DreamLeague Season 22, where Aurora got by invitation of the organizers. At these qualifiers the organization was a success: the team took the 1st place, defeating Team Darleng in the grand finals of qualification. After that, for Aurora Gaming was opened a direct path to the main part of the tournament. The squad finished 8th at the tournament itself, and also took prizes at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, Elite League 2024, DreamLeague Season 23 and PGL Wallachia: Season 1. The team later managed to qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024. At TI, the team placed in the top 8, and at Riyadh Masters 2024, they placed 12th, as they did at FISSURE Universe Ep.3.

  • September 19, 2024 - Aurora Gaming said goodbye to 23savage and Oli.
  • September 20, 2024 - Aurora Gaming moved Lorenof to the reserves and kiyotaka joined the team.

Soon Oleg Kaori Medvedok, Abed Azel Abed Yusop and Aibek TA2000 Tokayev joined the team. With the updated roster Aurora Gaming competed at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, where they finished in 6th place.

  • November 1, 2024 - kaori left the roster.
  • November 12, 2024 - Aurora Gaming has signed Malady.

On December 6 of the same year, Aurora Gaming benched TA2000 and Malady, and the next day announced the return of Chan Oli Jong Kin to the team and the joining of Jinn Palos Marry Lamatao as a stand-in.

  • December 15, 2024 - Malady officially left Aurora Gaming and joined L1GA TEAM.

In December, the team participated in the MESA Invitational 2024, where they placed 4th, and in January 2025, Palos joined Aurora. The team played at FISSURE PLAYGROUND in February, but didn't get out of the group stage and left the tournament in 13th place.

In February 2025, Aurora disbanded its Dota 2 roster, but soon introduced a new roster.

The first challenge for the new roster was PGL Wallachia Season 3, where the team played with a stand-in – Artem Lorenof Melnyk replaced Gleb kiyotaka Zyryanov, finishing in 5th-6th place and earning $60,000.

At the end of April, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 4, where they lost in the lower bracket quarterfinals of the playoff stage and exited the tournament, finishing in 5th-6th place.

In May, Aurora Gaming participated in BLAST SLAM III, where they lost in the Playoff quarterfinals and exited the tournament in 5th–6th place. After that, the team competed at DreamLeague Season 26, finishing in 4th place. On June 8, 2025, Aurora Gaming qualified for The International 2025 by winning the Eastern Europe Closed Qualifier. On June 27, 2025, the team was eliminated from PGL Wallachia Season 5, after losing in the first round of the playoffs. On July 4, 2025, Aurora Gaming lost to PARIVISION in the lower bracket final of the FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 playoffs, thereby ending their tournament run and finishing in 3rd place.

On August 23, Aurora Gaming competed at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, but lost in their first lower bracket playoff match and exited the tournament, finishing in 5th–6th place. In 2025, the team qualified for The International 2025 but couldn’t reach the playoffs and finished the tournament in 12th place.

On October 8, Gleb kiyotaka Zyryanov and Nikita Panto Balaganin officially left the main roster of Aurora Gaming. They were replaced by Raflai Mikoto Fathur Rahman and Chan Oli Chon Kien. On October 9, Damien kpii Sau-jing Chok joined the team's coaching staff.

In October, Aurora participated in FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, where they lost in the lower bracket quarterfinals of the playoffs and left the tournament. On FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, the team did not advance to the main stage of the championship at all. At BLAST SLAM IV, the team finished in 5th-6th place. At DreamLeague Season 27, Aurora finished their performance in the group stage with a score of 2-4.

On January 7, Alexander TORONTOTOKYO Hertek and Chan Oli Chon Kien left the team. A day later, the organization introduced new players: Malaysian offlaner Chung Ws Wei Shen and support Oleg kaori Medvedok.

At the first tournament of 2026, FISSURE Universe: Episode 8, Aurora Gaming became champions after defeating Team Spirit in the grand final. At the next tournament, DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3, the team also managed to become champions.

At the following ESL One Birmingham 2026, the team finished in 5th-6th place after reaching the playoffs. Later, at PGL Wallachia Season 8, the roster advanced to the grand final but lost to BetBoom Team and finished in second place.
