TI12: how much prize money tournament participants earned

As of the last day of The International 2023, the tournament prize pool stands at $3,100,000. The prize, as always, is partially generated from Compendium sales. The share of Compendium sales amounted to $1,500,000 and another $1,600,000 was added by Valve.

The first three places will share 65% of the total amount, with the champions receiving 45% ($1,300,000), second place receiving 12% ($362,000), and third place receiving the remaining 8% ($241,000).

The full list of The International 2023 prize pool distribution is as follows:

• 1st place: Team Spirit - 45% ($1,300,000)
• 2nd place: Gaimin Gladiators - 12% ($362,000)
• 3rd place: LGD Gaming - 8% ($241,000)
• 4th place: Azure Ray - 5.5% ($166,100) 
• 5th-6th place: Team Liquid, BetBoom Team - 3.25% ($98,200)
• 7th-8th place: Nouns, Virtus Pro - 2.5% ($75,500)
• 9th-12th place: TSM, 9 Pandas, Talon Esport, Entity - 2% ($60,000)
• 13-16th place: Shopify Rebelion, Evil Geniuses, Keyd Stars, Tundra Esport - 1.5% ($45,300)
• 17th-20th place: Team SMG, Thunder Awaken, beastcoast, PSG Quest - 1% ($30,200)
