Team Liquid found a replacement for Ace: organization signs new offlaner

Team Liquid has signed Adrian Wisper Cespedes Dobles, who will take the third position and replace Marcus Ace Hoelgaard, who left the team after the end of the season.

For the Bolivian offlaner, this will mark a return to the European region after spending last season with HEROIC and LGD Gaming.

He had played for the Peruvian team since January 2025. During his time with the roster, he won FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, finished fourth at BLAST SLAM IV, and regularly competed at major tournaments.

In May, the player joined LGD Gaming alongside several former HEROIC members. The team finished second at BLAST Slam VII before qualifying for The International 2026 through the South American qualifier. At the biggest tournament of the year, the team was eliminated after losing to Team Yandex in the elimination stage.

After TI15, the players' contracts with LGD Gaming expired, and the organization decided not to renew its agreements with the roster.

Over the past year, the offlaner played 323 maps, winning 182 of them for a 56% win rate. His average KDA was 8, with 625 GPM and 778 XPM. His most-played hero during this period was Batrider with 33 maps, followed by Enigma with 22 and Mars with 20.

At the same time, Team Liquid has not yet officially confirmed that all the other players will remain for the new season. Earlier, coach William Blitz Lee said that miCKe and Boxi will definitely stay with the team.

The first tournament for the updated roster will be BLAST Slam VIII, which will take place from 29.09.2026 to 11.10.2026. The group stage will be played online, while the playoffs will take place in Malta. 16 teams will compete for a $750,000 prize pool.
