Four teams were eliminated from TI12 at the end of the first phase group stage
The first phase of the group stage is over, meaning that now we kniw four teams which got eliminated from The International 12. Team SMG, Thunder Awaken, beastcoast and PSG Quest have left the tournament.
The most sensational was the elimination of beastcoast and PSG Quest, while Team SMG with stand-ins and Thunder Awaken were quite obvious underdogs. On October 14, TI12 will resume with the second group phase, where the teams will compete for the playoff seeding. 8 clubs will advance to the upper bracket, while other 8 will drop to the bottom one.

- LGD Gaming vs Keyd Stars @ Bo3;
- Tundra Esports vs nouns @ Bo3;

- BetBoom Team vs 9 Pandas @ Bo3;
- Gaimin Gladiators vs Talon Esports @ Bo3;
- Virtus.pro vs TSM @ Bo3.
The strongest teams in their groups were Team Spirit, Tundra Esports, LGD Gaming and Team Liquid. It was they who chose their opponents from opposite groups.
As Cyberscore reported earlier, Ivan MinD_ContRoL Ivanov lost the opportunity to become a two-time champion of The International, as Team SMG was eliminated.
