Team Falcons aren't the favorites: Gorgc has compiled a tier list of the ESL One Birmingham 2026 participants

Content creator Janne Gorgc Stefanovski considers Tundra Esports and Team Yandex to be the top contenders for victory at ESL One Birmingham 2026. The streamer assessed the tournament participants, ranking the teams in categories from S to D.

Only two teams were placed in Tier A: Aurora Gaming and Team Spirit. Notably, Team Falcons, which was considered the main favorite according to bookmakers' odds before the tournament began, was placed by Stefanovski only in Tier B. The underdogs, according to Gorgc, are Yakult Brothers, GamerLegion, paiN Gaming, and REKONIX. Virtus.pro and Nigma Galaxy were placed in Tier C, while Janne placed the remaining teams in Tier B.

It should be noted that the teams in Tiers S and A, according to Gorgc, are currently leading their groups at ESL One Birmingham 2026. Team Falcons did indeed have a less-than-ideal start, but on the second day, they secured victories in two series. Meanwhile, GamerLegion managed to draw with Tundra Esports and, surprisingly, secure a two-map victory over PARIVISION, giving the North American team a decent chance of advancing to the playoffs.
