The second championship of the ESL Pro Tour Season 2025/2026 series, DreamLeague Season 28, has just come to an end. The teams competed for 29,090 EPT points, and their positions on the ESL Pro Tour leaderboard have changed significantly compared to DreamLeague Season 27.

Tundra Esports has virtually guaranteed itself a spot at the Esports World Cup 2026 with a direct invitation. The team can only lose its slot by completely failing in all subsequent ESL events of the season, while the remaining 12 contenders for the invite must score more than 6000 EPT points. Aurora Gaming is in a similar position.

Xtreme Gaming and PARIVISION retained third and fourth place in the table. Team Liquid's top-4 finish at DreamLeague S28 allowed them to climb to fifth place.

At the same time, Team Yandex and Team Spirit, who took first and second place at DreamLeague S27, dropped to 6th and 7th place after failing at the recent online tournament series. It should be noted that Spirit has already been invited to the Esports World Cup 2026 as the winner of EWC 2025, and it is now important for Team Yandex to demonstrate successful results in upcoming competitions.

Team Falcons rounds out the top eight contenders for the slot. OG, MOUZ, BetBoom Team, Virtus.pro, and Natus Vincere are also in the “green zone”, but they still have a high probability of competing for a slot in the qualifiers.

The next tournament, ESL Pro Tour Season 2025/2026 ESL One Birmingham 2026 — will take place from 22.03.2026 to 29.03.2026. The main stage of the championship will take place from 27.03.2026 to 29.03.2026 at the BP Pulse Live arena in Birmingham, UK. Sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000 and 35,460 EPT points.

As previously reported by CyberScore, bookmakers have named their favorites for PGL Wallachia Season 7.
