DreamLeague Season 27
Tournament participants
DreamLeague Season 27 is part of the ESL Pro Tour tournament cycle. During the event, the top 24 teams, according to ESL rankings, will draw a prize pool of 1 million dollars
Participants:
- Twenty-four teams:
- Eleven invited teams;
- Eight teams from regional qualifiers;
- The four best teams from DreamLeague 27 Division 2 Stage 1;
- The winning team from DreamLeague 27 Division 2 Stage 2.
Group Stage - 10.12.2025 - 15.12.2025:
- Modified Swiss system for 24 teams:
- All matches are Bo3;
- The top eight teams advance to the playoffs;
- The remaining teams are eliminated.
Tiebreaker rules:
- By Neustadtl Score;
- By win rate by map;
- By opponents' win rate by map;
- By starting seed (Not used for the final calculation of positions);
- Random selection (Used only for the final calculation of positions).
These rules apply if, after the final round, it is impossible to determine the final 8 teams:
Seven teams have at least four wins
The four best teams based on tiebreaker results in the group with a 3-3 record will play in a single elimination tournament,
Bo3, for the remaining spot. They will be seeded 8th in the tournament bracket. The four best teams in the group with a 3-3 record will play a single elimination Bo3 tie break.
Nine teams have at least four wins
The two worst teams based on tiebreaker results will play a single Bo3 match for the remaining spot. They
will be seeded 8th in the bracket. The two worst teams play an additional Bo3 series.
Ten teams have at least four wins.
The three worst teams based on the tiebreaker results will play one Bo3 elimination match for the remaining
spot. They will be seeded 8th in the bracket. The three worst teams play a single elimination Bo3 playoff.
Playoffs - 17.12.2025 - 21.12.2025:
- Double-elimination bracket;
- All matches except the Grand Final are Bo3;
- Grand Final - Bo5.
