History
GamerLegion is a German esports organization founded in 2017 by former professional World of Tanks player Nikolos Reber. Initially, the club was primarily known for its Counter-Strike division, but at the end of 2025, the organization signed its first Dota 2 roster.
The inaugural lineup was built around former Wildcard Gaming and Apex Genesis players: Luke YamSun Wang Kok Hong, Francis RCY Fundemera, Viktor Fayde Zuev, Danil Bignum Shekhovtsov and Paul Speeed Bocchicchio. Former HEROIC coach Andrei-Vlad Mangusu Sateanu joined the team as head coach.
2025
Despite being new to the professional Dota 2 scene, the team immediately began competing at tier-one tournaments and, by the end of the year, participated in PGL Wallachia Season 6 and DreamLeague Season 27.
2026
At the beginning of 2026, GamerLegion continued to compete regularly at major tournaments but still struggled to achieve notable results. After disappointing performances in the first events of the season, YamSun was moved to inactive status, with Indji Shad Lub stepping in as a temporary replacement.
The team's first tournament with the new carry was ESL One Birmingham 2026. After the event, the organization signed Malaysian player Daniel Ghost Chan, while Shad left the roster.
With Ghost joining the team, GamerLegion's performances improved. The roster finished fourth at PREMIER SERIES, eliminating Team Spirit from the tournament, and also qualified for DreamLeague Season 29 without dropping a single map during the qualifiers.
However, the team was still unable to secure a top-three finish at any tournament, while qualifying for The International 2026 and the Esports World Cup 2026. remained its primary objectives for the season.
