MDL Changsha Major is a offline (LAN) tournament, organized by Mars Media as part of the Mars Dota 2 League and Dota Pro Circuit series.

The event, which took place from 14.05.2018 to 20.05.2018, 12 teams competed for the prize pool of 1 000 000$. Location: China

Participants:

• Twelve teams:
  • Four invited teams;
  • Five teams from regional qualifiers;
  • Three teams from DPL.Top Season 5.

Group Stage — 14.05.2018 — 15.05.2021:

• 2 groups of 6 teams in a round-robin format;
• All matches are Bo2;
• Group winners advance to the second round of the Upper Bracket playoffs;
• Teams finishing 2nd and 3rd advance to the first round of the Upper Bracket playoffs;
• Teams finishing 4th and 5th advance to the Lower Bracket playoffs;
• Teams finishing last in their groups are eliminated.

Playoffs — 16.05.2018 — 20.05.2021:

• Double-elimination bracket;
• The first round of the Lower Bracket — Bo1;
• All other matches — Bo3;
• Grand Final — Bo5.
