Infamous Gaming is a Peruvian esports organization founded in December 2015 by entrepreneur Christian Xtian Roque. The club became one of South America’s first major Dota 2 projects and played a significant role in the development of the region’s professional scene.

The organization’s first roster was formed from Team Unknown — a team that had previously become South America’s first representative at a Major tournament. The debut roster included Alonso Kotarō Hayama Leon, José Atun Salazar, Christian Accel Cruz, Alexis Greedy Ventura, and Jesús Ztok Soria.

2016

The organization spent its first full season on the South American regional scene. Throughout the year, the team regularly participated in qualifiers for international tournaments and gradually gained experience.

The season’s main achievement was victory at the WESG 2016 Americas Finals. Thanks to this, the team earned the right to compete in the world finals in China, where it reached the semifinals and finished in fourth place.

2017–2018

The first half of 2017 was a time of roster changes. During this period, various players from the region joined the team, but the roster eventually settled on Enzo Timado Gianoli O’Connor, Benjamin Benjaz Lanaos, Abraham Kingteka Kanes, Farik Matthew Puente, and Accel.

In the summer, Infamous won the regional qualifier for The International 2017 and made history as the first South American team to qualify for the year’s premier tournament.

At the tournament itself, the team failed to advance to the playoffs, and although the roster remained unchanged until the end of the year, further changes began early the following year, which only worsened their results.

At various times, the team featured Mason mason Wenn, Elvis Scofield De la Cruz Peña, Steven Stinger Vargas Mamani, Jackie EternaLEnVy Mao, and Jingjun Sneyking Wu.

2019

In the spring of 2019, the club signed an international roster that included Dominic Black^ Wrightmeier, Oliver skiter Lepko, Malte Biver Winter, Mickey HeStEJoE-Rotten Morch Junget, and Mariano Papita Kaneda.

The team managed to qualify for the EPICENTER Major 2019, but the roster unexpectedly disbanded, and in the summer, the organization signed the Team Anvorgesa roster.

The new roster included Héctor K1 Rodríguez, Jean Chris Luck González, Adrián Wisper Cespedes Dobles, Elvis Scofield De la Cruz Peña, and Steven Stinger Vargas Mamani.

This group of five players managed to qualify for The International 2019 and sensationally reached the top 8, defeating Newbee and Keen Gaming — the club’s best result of all time.

Immediately after the tournament ended, the entire roster left the club and soon joined Beastcoast.

2020–2024

After the departure of its star-studded roster, the organization assembled a new team centered around young players from the region, such as Rafael Sacred Yonatan, Joel MoOz Osambela, Rodrigo Lelis Santos, Sebastián Robo-Z Serralta, David Parker Nijo Flores, and other South American players.

Despite regularly participating in regional competitions, the team was unable to come close to matching the results of the 2019 roster.

With the introduction of the DPC system in 2021, the organization continued to compete in South America and regularly participated in regional leagues, while continuing to make roster changes along the way.

However, competition within the region increased significantly, and the club was never able to regain its status as one of South America’s strongest teams.

2025–2026

In the 2025 season, Infamous once again assembled a roster of relatively unknown South American players, including Juan lalatronii Rosales, Alexis sl4d1n-Seatl, José CHAAANNN Díaz, Jordan TakecareMia Benavente, and Jean-Pierre JP Gerardo Torres Hilakkama.

The club’s best results remained those from 2019, but the organization continued to actively participate in qualifiers and regional tournaments, regularly changing its roster.
