Mars Dota 2 League 2016 Autumn is a offline (LAN) tournament, organized by Mars Media as part of the Mars Dota 2 League series.

The event, which took place from 27.09.2016 to 01.10.2016, 8 teams competed for the prize pool of 250 000$. Location: China

Participants:

• Eight teams:

  • Four invited teams;

  • Two teams from the Chinese qualifier;

  • Two teams from Dota2 Professional League Season 1.

Group Stage - 28.09.2016 - 29.09.2016:

• Two GSL groups of four teams;

• All matches are played in a Bo3 format;

• Teams finishing 1st and 2nd in their groups advance to the upper bracket quarterfinals of the playoffs;

• Teams finishing 3rd and 4th in their groups start the playoffs in the lower bracket.

Playoffs - 30.09.2016 - 02.10.2016:

• Double-elimination bracket;

• All matches are Bo3;

• Grand Final — Bo5.
