Bio

Du Monet Peng is a talented curry player from China, his main characters are: Medusa, Morphling, Bloodseeker and Slark. In May 2017, Du was able to reach the 9,000 MMR mark, at that time he became the youngest Chinese player to earn such an achievement.

Monet started his esports career in 2015 for FTD Club C. He then moved to CDEC.Avenger, and his first serious team was LGD.Forever Young (LFY)

  • The best achievement in Monet's career is 3rd place at The International 2017 (TI7) with LGD.Forever Young - then the team managed to earn more than $2.5 million dollars. The roster was Monet, Super, Inflame, ah fu, ddc

Monet after leaving LGD.Forever Young managed to play for Royal Never Give Up, Team Aster and Invictus Gaming. With Team Aster, Monet placed 4th at The International 2022 (TI11) and 13-16th at The International 2021 (TI10), with Royal Never Give Up managed to reach 7th-8th place at The International 2019 (TI9).

Monet continued to play for Team Aster in 2023, but results were erratic. Among the notable achievements: 7-8th place at Riyadh Masters 2023, Lima Major 2023 and ESL One: Berlin Major 2023. For a long time Aster did not occupy the highest places, and when the team failed to qualify for The International 2023 (TI12), a disband of the squad took place.

  • November 11, 2023 - Invictus Gaming announced a new lineup with Monet as a carry. Then the iG and G2 organizations announced a partnership and the team formed the tag G2.iG.

Monet made his debut for G2.iG at ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023, where the team took 5th-6th place. In January, the team failed the qualifiers for BB Dacha Dubai 2024, but made it to DreamLeague Season 22, where he placed 16th. Later, Du Peng played at ESL One Birmingham and PGL Wallachia Season, finishing 5th and 4th respectively, and received a direct invitation to Elite League 2024. In June, the qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International were held, where the player was able to pass with ease. At the Riyadh Masters, he finished in 19th place.

Next, G2.IG participated in the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational, where they made it to the quarterfinals and finished in 6th place. In August, Monet  finished in 7th place at the FISSURE Universe Ep 3. At The International 2024 , the team could not achieve high results and finished in 13th place after losing in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs.

In September, Monet joined Team Turtle.

At the end of May 2025, the organization revealed its roster for The International 2025 qualifiers, featuring well-known Chinese pro players led by Lu Somnus Yao and Jian Wei xNova Yap. Unfortunately, the team had a poor performance, losing in the lower bracket. After failing to qualify, the organization announced the disbandment of the roster.

In early January 2026, he teamed up with other Chinese players to form a new roster called Game Master in order to compete in qualifiers for major tournaments.

In April, he became part of the Chinese team Team Refuser, which is also represented by Zhang Paparazi Chengjun.
