PGL Wallachia Season 4: format, schedule, results, and tournament bracket
PGL Wallachia Season 4 is a Dota 2 LAN championship that took place from 19.04.2025 to 27.04.2025 in Bucharest, Romania. 16 teams drew a prize pool of $1,000,000, with the winner receiving $300,000.
The tournament started with the group stage, which was held according to the Swiss system. At the end of this stage, 8 teams advanced to the playoffs, while the rest left the competition.
All matches at PGL Wallachia Season 4 were played in a Best-of-3 format, with the exception of BO5 in the grand finals. The playoff bracket is Double-elimination.
Final Game Day results (27.04.2025):
The final day of PGL Wallachia Season 4 began with a lower bracket final match between Tundra Esports and Team Liquid. It seemed the battle would be intense, but Liquid handled their opponent without much trouble and advanced to the grand final.
In the decisive series of the tournament, the "Liquids" once again faced PARIVISION, who had defeated them earlier in the upper bracket final. Despite already playing a series earlier that day, Michael miCKe Vu’s team delivered an excellent performance and became the champions of the tournament, closing the match with a 3-2 score.

Results of previous match days
Day 1
Team Spirit confidently defeated Shopify Rebellion with a 2:0 score. Team Liquid gave no chances to Nigma Galaxy, also finishing their match 2:0, while Tundra Esports handled Heroic with ease. Victorious starts were also shown by Aurora Gaming, Peru Edge, PARIVISION, Tidebound, and Team Falcons, who all delivered solid performances in their opening matches.
AVULUS, Shopify Rebellion, Heroic, and Nigma Galaxy failed to win a single map at the start of the tournament.
Day 2
Aurora Gaming, PARIVISION, Team Spirit, and Team Falcons share the top 4 spots after winning all of today’s matches. Xtreme Gaming, Edge, Tidebound, and BetBoom Team are also in the top 8 of the group stage. NAVI Junior, AVULUS, Heroic, and Talon Esports lost their matches and are currently at the bottom of the standings.
Day 3
Team Spirit and PARIVISION were the first to secure a place in the playoffs without losing a single map in the group stage. AVULUS and Talon Esports finished their performance at the championship, taking 15-16th place. Tomorrow will determine three more teams that will advance to the main stage of the tournament and three more teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
Day 4
Team Liquid, Tundra Esports and BetBoom Team have secured a slot in the playoffs. The losing teams will fight for the last slots in the main stage tomorrow against NAVI Junior, Xtreme Gaming and Heroic, which eliminated Nigma Galaxy, Shopify Rebellion and Edge today.
Day 5
Team Falcons lost to NAVI Junior in the match for a playoff spot and finished in 9th-11th place — the worst result in the club's history. In the Chinese derby, Tidebound defeated Xtreme Gaming, while the last slot in the main stage went to Aurora Gaming, which eliminated Heroic. Thus, all participants of the final stage have been determined today, and the upper bracket quarterfinal matches will take place tomorrow.
Day 6
Team Liquid, Team Spirit, PARIVISION, and Aurora Gaming have advanced to the upper bracket semifinals. Tundra Esports, NAVI Junior, Tidebound, and BetBoom Team have been dropped to the lower bracket and will face off in elimination matches. Tomorrow, two teams will secure their spots in the top 3, while two more teams will be eliminated from the competition.
Day 7
Team Liquid and PARIVISION secured their places in the top 3 of the championship and will play tomorrow for a spot in the grand final. Team Spirit and Aurora Gaming dropped to the lower bracket, where they will face Tidebound and Tundra Esports in elimination matches. Recall that today, on the decisive map in the match between Aurora Gaming and PARIVISION, Nightfall encountered a bug that prevented him from using his buyback while playing Doom, even though he had enough gold to do so.
Day 8
The first match of the day took place in the lower bracket: Tidebound confidently defeated Team Spirit and sent them home. The same fate befell Aurora Gaming, as the team failed to overcome Tundra Esports.
In the penultimate match, Team Liquid and PARIVISION faced off for a spot in the grand final. Team Liquid put up a strong fight, but PVISION proved to be stronger. To close out the day, Tidebound and Tundra Esports clashed. Both teams gave it their all in an intense battle, but in the end, Tundra claimed the victory, and the Chinese team exited the tournament.
As CyberScore reported earlier, bookmakers have named the favorites of PGL Wallachia Season 4. Amer Miracle-al-Barkawi will miss the tournament, and Avulus will play with a substitute. MidOne will also replace the Tundra Esports coach at this tournament, and if the team reaches the playoffs, he will play as the offlaner himself.
