Tidebound is a Dota 2 esports team founded in early 2025 by legends of the Chinese pro scene.
The starting roster consists of Guo shiro Huangan, Cheng NothingToSay Jin Xiang, Zhang Bach Ruida, Lin planet Hao, Zhang y Yiping and coach Zhou bLink Yang.
The team debuted in March 2025 at PGL Wallachia Season 3, where they finished in 7th-8th place. That same month, the team performed at FISSURE Universe Ep.4 and placed in the top-3. At ESL One Raleigh 2025 in April, the roster failed to advance beyond the group stage.
Later, at the end of April, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 4, where they lost in the quarterfinals of the lower bracket playoffs and left the tournament, finishing in 4th place.
In May, Tidebound participated in BLAST SLAM III, where they lost in the Playoff quarterfinals and exited the tournament in 5th–6th place.
- On May 14, 2025, the Chinese esports organization All Gamers Global fully acquired the TideBound Dota 2 roster.
In June 2025, Tidebound competed at PGL Wallachia Season 5 but failed to reach the playoffs. The team also failed to qualify for Riyadh Masters 2025, and after that, the team was removed from the Chinese esports organization All Gamers Global.
On July 3, 2025, Tidebound finished their run at FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 after losing in the lower bracket quarterfinal. In August 2025, Tidebound became the champions of Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi, and the team also earned $213,500 in prize money.
In September, Tidebound participated in The International 2025 where they managed to reach the playoffs but lost in the lower bracket and exited the tournament, finishing in 7-8th place.
On October 23, Shu EchoZz Ziliang and Li niu Kongbo joined the team, replacing Cheng NothingToSay Jin Xiang and Zhang Bach Ruida. Yao Yao Zhengzheng also became the team’s new coach. On November 12, Tidebound became the champions of DreamLeague Division 2 Season 2, earning $15,000 in prize money and a slot at DreamLeague Season 27. At PGL Wallachia Season 6, the team finished in 12th-14th place.
On December 24, it became known that Tidebound announced the closure of its Dota 2 division and the disbandment of the roster.
