AVULUS is a European Dota 2 esports team formed in late spring 2024.

The initial lineup consisted of former Team Tea players: Alexey Smiling Knight Sviridov, Kasra Mikey Mesbah, Andreas Xibbe Ragnemalm, Marcel Ekki Hołowienko, and Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev.

2024

The team began its path with regional qualifiers for major tournaments.

In autumn, AVULUS debuted on the big tier-1 stage. At PGL Wallachia Season 2, the team finished 7th, and then placed 11th at DreamLeague Season 24. The year's biggest achievement for AVULUS was a top-5 finish at ESL One Bangkok 2024.

Following these results, the first roster change took place: Daniel Stormstormer Schoetzau replaced Mikey.

2025

2025 began extremely poorly for the team: an 11th-place finish at FISSURE PLAYGROUND, plus 16th-place finishes at DreamLeague Season 25 and PGL Wallachia: Season 3 led to major roster changes. On March 21, Stormstormer and Ekki left, and Fabian Mo13ei Knehr and Athanasios dEsire Kartsabas took their places.

The rebuilt roster could not turn things around, losing in the first playoff match of ESL One Raleigh 2025 and finishing last at PGL Wallachia Season 4. This led to the removal of SoNNeikO, with Tal Fly Aizik joining first as a stand-in and then as a permanent player.

Shortly after, the team failed at DreamLeague Season 26, finishing 14th, and after more poor results Mo13ei gave way to Vitaliy Worick Brezgin. Due to visa issues, however, Worick could not play at PGL Wallachia Season 5, so the team again used Mo13ei and finished 15th-16th.

After a string of summer setbacks, including a poor run at FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, AVULUS management decided to change course completely. In September and October, the organization tested new combinations, bringing in veterans of the scene such as Clement Puppey Ivanov and Thiago Thiolicor Cordeiro for the open qualifiers of BLAST Slam V.

However, after losing in the first round of the playoffs at FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, this roster was finally disbanded on November 11.

In mid-autumn, the club announced a completely new roster, which also ran into trouble immediately: offlaner Alexander Cloud Zakharov left on December 25, and Ivan Corrupted German became his temporary replacement.

2026

In early January 2026, Smiling Knight temporarily rejoined, replacing Ilya ssnovv1 Kondrashov. However, on January 31, Smiling Knight left the team again.

After his departure, AVULUS played several events with Aibek TA2000 Tokayev and Mikhail DarkLord^ Blinov, but the results remained disappointing.

In April 2026, the roster was disbanded and the tag went inactive.
