“Nigma is indisputably S tier”, — Astini assessed the strength of the teams ahead of the start of DreamLeague Season 29
Team Nemesis coach Filipe Astini Astini has compiled a tier list for the participants of DreamLeague Season 29. He considers his former players, PARIVISION, as well as Tundra Esports and Nigma Galaxy, to be the main favorites.
"Nigma is indisputably S tier; if anyone disagrees, they're crazy”, — Filipe noted.

Besides Nigma, it’s surprising to see Tundra in the top tier after their failure at 1W ESSENCE I. Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, and BetBoom Team are in Tier A, but Astini also highly rates the performance of PlayTime and Vici Gaming.
The experienced coach has little faith in Xtreme Gaming, Team Liquid, and the revamped Team Spirit roster, whereas GamerLegion’s placement in Tier B can be considered a high mark. Finally, ex-Heroic, Virtus.pro, and Natus Vincere were placed in Tier C, and Astini considers REKONIX to be the weakest team in the tournament.
Casters Troels Lyngholt syndereN Nielsen and Shannon SUNSfan Scotten also shared their predictions for the results of DreamLeague Season 29.
According to SUNSfan, Tundra Esports will win the tournament, Team Liquid will take second place, and BetBoom Team will finish third. At the same time, Shannon considers Tundra the “white donkey” of the competition (a team that might underperform), while he named ex-Heroic the “dark horse".
syndereN believes that Aurora Gaming will win, Team Spirit will reach the finals, and Xtreme Gaming will finish in the top 3. According to Nielsen, the “white donkey” is PARIVISION, and the “dark horse” is Playtime.
DreamLeague Season 29 will take place from 13.05.2026 to 24.05.2026 in an online format, with 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000 and 28,300 EPT points. You can follow the championship in detail in the coverage.
