BetBoom Team midlaner Vitaly Save Melnik stated that he would only consider returning to position four if he became completely disappointed in his abilities as a midlaner. However, the player emphasized that he is not currently considering such a move and remains fully focused on adapting to his new role. He shared these thoughts in a new video published on the club's YouTube channel.

Ahead of the new season, Save switched from position four to the midlane. The player previously admitted that he had wanted to play as a midlaner since the beginning of his professional career, as he prefers this role. He made his debut in the new position at BLAST Slam VIII, where BB Team finished in 9–12 place.

Melnik named the laning stage as the biggest challenge of switching to his new position. According to him, competing successfully against players such as Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko and Danil gpk Skutin requires a lot of practice.

Sometimes I watch 15-20 matchup replays a day and play Dota myself. As before, the hardest part of switching to mid is laning. To hold my own against all the top 5-10 players in the world, I have to work extremely hard.

The player also believes he will have an advantage over his opponents at the beginning of the season, as other teams are not yet familiar with his hero pool. He hopes this will allow him to surprise them with his decisions.

Earlier, Cyberscore shared comments from Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak about his return to the professional scene.
