Transfers after The International 2026: rumors and potential roster changes

Following the conclusion of The International 2026, the professional Dota 2 scene is preparing for major changes. While some organizations have already announced updated rosters, more and more rumors are emerging around others regarding potential transfers and replacements.

Team Falcons

On September 6, Team Falcons disbanded its Dota 2 roster and suspended operations in the discipline. Coach Curtis Aui_2000 Ling announced his retirement. Andreas Cr1t- Nielsen is also likely to leave the pro scene. The fate of the remaining players is not yet known for certain.

According to rumors, Jingjun Sneyking Wu may join a Chinese team, while Oliver Skiter Lepko may join Aurora Gaming. Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak and Ammar ATF Al-Assaf, according to insiders, may continue their careers with Team Liquid, Team Yandex, or BetBoom Team. However, Malr1ne has stated that he will continue to play alongside Ammar, while ATF said that he plans to part ways with his close friend and join different teams for at least half a year.

Team Liquid

Changes are also expected in Team Liquid after TI15. Several sources report that Michal Nisha Jankowski could take an extended break or move to the inactive roster, as will Samuel Boxi Svan. Marcus Ace Hoelgaard could also leave the team after his performances at the latest tournament were frequently criticized.

Xtreme Gaming

The Chinese club Xtreme Gaming could also make roster changes. According to rumors, Guo NothingToSay Jin Xiang will leave the team, while Zhao XinQ Zixing and Zhang xiao8 Ning will return. Both previously represented Xtreme Gaming and could rejoin the club as part of its roster rebuild.

Some insiders have also reported that Wang Ame Chunyu could leave the organization. At the same time, other sources claim that the carry will remain with the team. Nigma Galaxy

Nigma Galaxy could undergo the most radical changes. According to the latest rumors, the organization is planning to completely disband its current roster.

Major changes could also take place in BetBoom Team. According to rumors, Danil gpk Skutin and coach Anatoly boolk Ivanov could leave the team.

According to another version, the new LGD roster will include Máximo Wits Orozco, Sumail SumaiL Hassan, Cedric Davai Lama Deckmyn, Tiago de Oliveira Thiolicor Cordeiro and Jingjun Sneyking Wu.

BC.Game

According to rumors, the esports organization BC.Game plans to sign a Dota 2 roster for the upcoming season. Mikhail Misha Agatov named the potential roster currently under negotiation. However, Ivan OneJey Zhivitsky, whom Misha mentioned as a possible player for the club, stated that he had not been contacted regarding this roster.

Astini Team

According to unofficial information, coach Filipe Astini Astini has assembled a new roster featuring Yuma Yuma Langlet, Abed Abed Yusop, Cedric Davai Lama Deckmyn, Thiago Thiolicor Cordeiro, and Matheus KJ Diniz. But BLAST Slam IX qualifiers list Yuma and KJ as part of PlayTime, casting doubt on the existence of the Astini squad.

Most of the players have already played together in the past. Yuma, Davai Lama, and Thiolicor played together for D1 Hustlers in 2023. Deckmyn was later replaced in this trio by KJ, after which the players represented HEROIC in 2026.
