Zhang Xiao8 Ning has officially stepped down as head coach of Xtreme Gaming. He will be replaced by Zhang LaNm Zhicheng, who will work alongside Wang Maps Yutian. The announcement was posted on the club’s official Weibo page.

As a reminder, Xiao8 stopped coaching the XG roster during BLAST Slam VII. At the Esports World Cup 2026, he was replaced by Maps. The team failed to advance to the playoffs in both tournaments.
Organization representatives did not disclose the reasons why Xiao8 left the team, but they thanked the former coach for his year and four months of service, during which the team secured several podium finishes at major championships and also became the runner-up at The International 2025.
On August 13, Xtreme Gaming will begin its run at The International 2026. The tournament will take place from 13.08.2026 to 23.08.2026 in Shanghai, China.
