DreamLeague Season 24: format, schedule, results, and bracket

DreamLeague Season 24 is an online Dota 2 championship that took place from 27.10.2024 to 11.11.2024. Sixteen teams competed for a prize pool of $1,000,000.

The group stage was held in two phases using the Round Robin system. In the first phase, four weakest teams from each group were eliminated. The remaining teams were merged into a single group in the second phase and only four of them advanced to the playoffs.

Group stage matches were played in a Bo2 format in the first phase and Bo3 in the second phase, while playoff matches were Bo3, and the grand final was played in a Bo5 format.

Final matchday results (10.11.2024):

As a result of the day, Team Spirit left DreamLeague Season 24 after losing to Team Falcons in the lower-bracket final. Spirit finished 3rd and earned $120,000. Falcons, in turn, advanced to the next stage. The match ended 2–0.

Both maps were fully controlled by Team Falcons. Despite this, Team Spirit tried to put up a fight but still looked weaker. In the second game, Spirit’s carry Alan Satanic Gallyamov didn’t secure a single kill. The supports also struggled to have an impact.

In the grand final, Team Falcons defeated BetBoom Team and became the champions. The team claimed first place, earning $300,000 and 3,000 EPT points. The series ended 3–1.

Team Falcons won three out of four maps. Notably, in the second group stage Falcons lost to every team they later faced in the playoffs. This marks the seventh major tournament victory for the Saudi Arabian team in 2024.

It’s worth noting that BetBoom Team won only the second map, where they managed to pull off a comeback. As a result, BB finished second, earning $175,000 and 2,500 EPT points.

In Group A, Team Liquid and Parivision emerged as leaders, convincingly defeating AVULUS and Gaimin Gladiators. The Team Liquid vs Gaimin Gladiators series ended in a total rout for GG. Both maps finished in less than 25 minutes, with the first game score at 7-32 and the second at 27-8.

Meanwhile, BetBoom Team, Nouns, Nigma Galaxy, and Xtreme Gaming drew their respective series.

Talon Esports emerged as the undisputed leader of Group B, easily defeating Palianytsia. The stack still can't find the same form as in the qualifiers. The remaining teams drew their matches.

In this group, the two leading teams remained unchanged: Parivision took first place, while BetBoom Team dropped to fourth with a 3-3 record. Nevertheless, Team Liquid, Xtreme Gaming, and Gaimin Gladiators have the same number of points as BetBoom Team.

The outsiders so far are Nouns, Nigma Galaxy, and Avulus, all with a 2-4 record. It’s worth noting that these teams have yet to win a single series.

Tundra Esports and Team Falcons pushed Talon Esports from the top spot: today the teams won their series, although they had previously drawn against each other. Talon and Team Waska scored the same number of points, placing 3rd–4th. Team Spirit won their first series in the tournament, defeating Palianytsia, moving the “Dragons” to 5th place with a 3-3 record.

The clear outsiders in this group were Azure Ray (2-4), Heroic (1-5), and Palianytsia (0-6), who did not win a single map.

No clear leaders emerged in Group A: Team Liquid and Parivision ended the day with the same record (7-3). Xtreme Gaming and Gaimin Gladiators also tied with 6-4. Despite this, standings were fairly determined using tiebreaker metrics.

BetBoom Team found themselves in the danger zone in 5th place but still have a chance to stay in the tournament. AVULUS and Nigma Galaxy are also at risk, while Nouns has the lowest chance to continue to the next stage.

In Group B, Team Falcons emerged as the clear leader and has most likely secured a spot in the next stage of the group phase. Tundra Esports and Team Waska are in the green zone and tied in points, while Team Spirit ended the day with a 6-4 record.

Talon Esports and Azure Ray are currently the underdogs, but they still have some chances. Unfortunately, Palianytsia and Heroic have been eliminated from the tournament.

At the end of the stage, PARIVISION became the leader of Group A, winning three series and advancing from the group with a map score of 10-4. Alongside PARIVISION, Team Liquid, Xtreme Gaming, and BetBoom Team moved on to the second stage of the tournament.

The underdogs were Gaimin Gladiators, AVULUS, Nouns, and Nigma Galaxy, all of whom are leaving the event.

Team Falcons became the clear leader of Group B, finishing the stage with only two lost maps. Following them are Tundra Esports and, surprisingly, Team Waska, both teams ending with the same number of points and a map score of 10-4. Closing the group is Team Spirit with nine map wins.

The teams leaving the tournament are Talon Esports, Azure Ray, Heroic, and Palianytsia. The latter showed the worst performance in the group stage, winning only one map throughout the event.

Today, the participants played four matches. Team Waska and PARIVISION ended the day with a 1-0 score, defeating strong opponents Xtreme Gaming and Team Falcons. Tundra Esports once again secured a victory over BetBoom Team.

The newly formed PARIVISION unexpectedly took the lead in the series against Team Falcons. Team Spirit, in turn, successfully defeated Team Liquid. As a result, some of the favorites found themselves at the bottom of the standings.

PARIVISION and Team Spirit are the only teams that have not lost a single match in this stage. Team Falcons and BetBoom Team managed to recover, winning their series against Team Liquid and Xtreme Gaming, respectively — now their record stands at 1-1.

Team Waska and Tundra Esports are also in the middle of the standings with a total score of 1-1. Teams that have not yet secured a victory are Team Liquid and XG. Nevertheless, every team still has a chance to advance to the playoffs.

The leaders of the group remain PARIVISION and Team Spirit, as both teams have not lost a single match. Team Falcons managed to escape the red zone after today’s victory over Tundra Esports, while the latter is now dangerously close to elimination. Meanwhile, BetBoom Team and Team Waska maintained their positions.

Unexpectedly, the outsiders are Xtreme Gaming and Team Liquid, as both teams have not yet won a single match, and today’s defeats against Team Spirit and PARIVISION only reinforced their position in the red zone. Both teams still have four more attempts to recover and earn points.

Team Spirit continues to lead the group. After today’s defeat of PARIVISION by BetBoom Team, Spirit remains the only team that has not lost a single match in the second stage. PARIVISION, BetBoom Team, and Team Falcons now share an equal score of 3-1.

The main candidate for elimination remains Xtreme Gaming, as the Chinese team is still at 0-4. Since yesterday, Team Liquid has secured its first victory in the group, giving them a chance to reach the playoffs.

Today was particularly full of exciting matches and events. Xtreme Gaming earned its first victory of the stage, defeating Tundra Esports. In contrast, Team Spirit lost their first match, falling to PARIVISION. Another notable series was between BetBoom Team and Team Falcons, where the Russian roster defeated the Saudi Arabian team for the first time.

As a result, BetBoom Team caught up with PARIVISION and Spirit and now occupies the top spot in the standings. Team Falcons sits in the middle with a 3-2 record. Team Liquid, after defeating Team Waska, gained better chances to reach the playoffs but still remains in the danger zone. Xtreme Gaming, Waska, and Tundra Esports remain the main candidates for elimination.

The tenth day of DreamLeague Season 24 has come to an end. It’s time to sum up the results.

Xtreme Gaming failed to overcome Team Liquid and has been eliminated from the tournament. In the Eastern European derby between BetBoom Team and Team Spirit, BB secured a confident victory.

Additionally, Team Waska lost their chance to advance to the DreamLeague playoffs after falling 0-2 to Team Falcons. Following this result, Tundra Esports was also eliminated from the event, despite winning today’s series against PARIVISION.

The eleventh day of DreamLeague Season 24 has come to an end. It’s time to summarize the results.

BetBoom Team continues to perform excellently and today convincingly defeated Team Liquid, securing their spot in the upper bracket of the playoffs.

Team Spirit defeated Team Falcons and earned a chance to fight for a place in the upper bracket of the main stage tomorrow against PARIVISION, who lost a map to Xtreme Gaming and now risk falling to the lower bracket.

The final match of the day was between Team Waska and Tundra Esports. Tundra won the series, but from a tournament standpoint, the match had no impact. Both teams have been eliminated from the event.

BetBoom Team defeated Team Spirit in the upper bracket of DreamLeague Season 24, becoming the first grand finalist of the tournament. Spirit will face Team Falcons tomorrow in the lower bracket final, who today defeated PARIVISION.

Team Falcons convincingly beat their opponents, surprising everyone with a mid Magnus pick by Malr1ne. BB Team also chose an unconventional hero for kiyotaka — Morphling, which Gleb had played only once in the tournament against Liquid. Team Spirit, unlike PARIVISION, managed to put up some resistance against BB, but only on the first map.
