The group stage draw for DreamLeague Season 19 has been made
ESL has published the results of the draw for the first group stage of DreamLeague Season 19. According to its results, the participants were divided into two groups:
- Group A: Entity; Evil Geniuses; Excretion; Gaimin Gladiators; HellRaisers; Shopify Rebelion; Team Aster; TSM.
- Group B: beastcoast; nouns; OG, PSG.LGD; Talon Esports; Team Liquid; Team Spirit; Tundra Esports.
The event consists of two group stages and a playoff. Of the 16 participants in the tournament, eight teams will advance to the second group stage. They will form one group, the matches in which will be held in the best-of-3 format. The best 4 teams will go to the playoffs, which will be held according to the Double Elimination system. The first two places will go to the upper bracket, while the third and fourth places will go to the lower bracket.
DreamLeague Season 19 will take place from April 9 to April 23 in an online format. According to the rules of the tournament, teams must be at the bootcamp in one of the European countries of their choice. Participants will compete for one million dollars in prize money, and the champion of the event, in addition to $300,000 for the victory, will also earn a ticket to the group stage of The Riyadh Masters 2023.
As CyberScore reported, ESL has introduced its own series of tournaments called ESL Pro Tour. Its culmination will be The Riyadh Masters 2023, which will be held in the summer in the capital of Saudi Arabia.
