Execration - aka XctN - is a cybersports organization from the Philippines competing in Southeast Asia. It was founded back in 2012. For some time it included two Dota 2 squads, but did not show significant results - in 2014 the squads were merged into one, where young jay, foxx, Ewe and RR met, led by an experienced captain - Kimo. XctN had a great performance at StarLadder StarSeires Season 10, thus - was able to pass on LAN. The team managed to take 7th-8th place and earn $5,000 in prize money. In 2015, the team won BTS Southeast Asia #2, and also took 13-16th place at the World Cyber Arena 2015.

In 2016, the roster of the team included players such as Tims and Abed. With this roster, Execration almost managed to make it to The International 2016, finishing 3rd in Wild Carad. The club went on to take 1st place at the MPGL Southeast Asian Championship and 2nd place at the ROG Masters 2016, where the team managed to pick up $60,000 in prize money. After that Abed leaves the team and joins Team Onyx.

At the moment - XtrN managed to get to The International 2017 for the only time - where the team consisting of Kimo, RR, CartMaN, Bimbo and Nando managed to qualify for the open region qualifications, and at the closed qualifications won a slot to the big tournament together with Fnatic and TNC Predator. At the main tournament of the year, the squad failed to show their best game and they finished in 13-16th position, which earned them $120,000 in prize money.

We would like to mention the other big achievements of the team, namely winning the MPGL Asian Championship and World Esports Elite Competition. Second place at the Moon Studio Asian League and OMEGA League: Asia Divine Division.

In 2021, Nande returned to the Execration lineup one year after his departure. With the new old Carry, the team was able to place 3rd at the Moon Studio New Year Showdown. In the same year, the squad became champions of the Yamei Pro Series, QH Sports Dota Series 2 and Perfect Land Gaming tournaments.

In 2023, the team made their first appearances at Dash 1 tournaments in a long time. Execration participated in Lima Major 2023, DreamLeague Season 19, ESL One Berlin Major 2023 Bali Major 2023 and Riyadh Masters 2023. Although the roster failed to perform well, the team was only able to advance out of the group stage at the Riyadh tournament, it was their first experience participating in an event of this level since The International 2017.

In January 2024, Execration participated in qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 , DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham 2024. At the LAN qualifiers in Birmingham, the squad almost didn't make it to the tournament, finishing in 4th place, however, this was the team's highest result; at the other qualifiers, the kulb couldn't get higher than 8th place.
