PGL Wallachia Season 6: invited teams announced

Tournament operator PGL has announced a list of 11 teams invited directly to PGL Wallachia Season 6. The announcement was published on the organization's X page.

The championship will feature PARIVISION, BetBoom Team, Team Tidebound, Tundra Esports, HEROIC, Nigma Galaxy, Team Spirit, Team Liquid, Aurora Gaming, Wildcard, and Yakult Brothers. Another five teams will advance to the tournament based on the results of qualifiers in Americas, Western and Eastern Europe, China, and Southeast Asia, which will take place from October 2 to 5.

The event itself will take place from November 15 to 23 in Bucharest, Romania. Sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000. The group stage will be played using the Swiss system with Bo3 matches, and the playoff bracket will be double-elimination.

It should be noted that not all teams have submitted their rosters for the new season yet. In particular, changes are expected in the lineups of Team Spirit and Team Liquid, which are also invited to FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and BLAST SLAM IV.

It is noteworthy that among the invited teams for PGL Wallachia Season 6 there was no Team Falcons. The reason for this was visa issues for Stanislav Malr1ne Potoraс, and the team refused to play with a stand-in. According to rumors, the club has fully retained its championship roster for the new season. However, Andreas Cr1t- Nielsen may take a break for the first tournaments — his place will be temporarily filled by Martin Saksa Sazdov.
