FISSURE Universe: Episode 3 announced

FISSURE announced the online tournament FISSURE Universe: Episode 3, which will start on August 18. 14 invited teams will compete in the championship. The prize pool will be $150,000.

Tournament format:

Play-in: August 18 - 20

• 8 invited teams;
• double-elimination bracket;
• 2 teams advance to the group stage;
• all matches in Bo3 format;
• lower bracket final - Bo5.

Group stage: August 21 - 23

• two groups of four teams with GSL system;
• all matches in Bo3 format;
• two teams in each group qualify for the playoffs.

Playoffs: August 24 - 25

• elimination bracket after two defeats;
• all matches in Bo3 format;
• grand final in Bo5 format.
