About the tournament

The 2022 Asian Game officially known as the 19th Asian Games, also known as Hangzhou 2022 - is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The event is recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the second largest multi-sport event after the Olympics. The 2022 edition will host Dota 2 as an Official Medal Sport and will feature the national teams selected by the 45 members of the Olympic Council of Asia.

The event was originally scheduled in 2022, but was postponed to 2023 due to concerns over COVID-19 in China.

Participants:

  •  5 seeded;
  •  10 unseeded.

Group Stage:

  • single round-robin;
  • teams are divided into 3 groups;
  • the winner of the group qualifies for the playoffs.

Playoffs:

  • single Elimination grid with a match for third place.
