Team China is national Dota 2 team, which represents the country in international team tournaments.

Despite the rich history of the Chinese professional scene, official national teams began to appear regularly only with the growth of international team competitions.

2023

The team’s first major tournament was the 2022 Asian Games, which, due to a postponement, took place in the fall of 2023 in Hangzhou.

The team’s roster included Wang Ame Chunyu, Lu Somnus M Yao, Yang Chalice Shenyi, Zhao XinQ Zixing, and Yu Siamese Yajun.

The Chinese national team advanced to the playoffs, where they defeated Thailand, Malaysia, and Mongolia in the grand final. 

The team won gold medals, becoming the first Dota 2 champions of the Asian Games since the discipline was added to the official competition program.

2026

In June 2026, the roster for the Chinese national team for the first Esports Nations Cup was announced. 

The roster includes Wang Ame Chunyi, Lin Xxs Jing, and Xu fy Linsen from Xtreme Gaming, as well as Zhang y` Yiping, Guo Xm Hongcheng, and substitute player Zhao XinQ Zixing, who represent Vici Gaming. 

Wang Maps Yutian, who had previously worked with Vici, Xtreme Gaming, Azure Ray, and CDEC, was appointed head coach of the team.

Due to high national rankings, China received a direct invitation to the main event.
