Bio
Quinn, also known as CCnC, is a professional Dota 2 player from the United States, who plays in the middle lane. He is currently playing for Gaimin Gladiators and is considered to be one of the best mid players not only in the region but also in the world. His achievements include a top-8 finish at The International 2018 and regular high placements at major tournaments.
Quinn started playing Dota 2 in 2012 and tried his hand at the pro level three years later, playing for FDL@. As early as 2016, he had already placed third in the Dota 2 Canada Cup Season 7 and made it into the top-eight participants at the Summit 5. Quinn continued to compete in the North American region and won the Dota 2 BEAT Invitational - Season 8 with Team Freedom and placed second at DreamLeague Season 7 NA Division. During this time, his unfavorable comments towards mason drew the public's attention, culminating in him losing to mason at The International 2017 qualifiers.
Quinn gained international recognition with OpTic Gaming: young mid-player alongside ppd, zai, Pajkatt and MiSeRy (later 33) placed 2nd at ROG MASTERS 2017, entered the top-8 at both The Bucharest Major and Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, won "silver" at ESL One Birmingham 2018 and ultimately placed 7-8th at The International 2018, earning his team nearly $640,000. When the organization disbanded, Quinn joined paiN X. The team consisted mostly of North American players but competed in the South. Its former participants, known as Test123, were denied entry to The Chongqing Major due to regional violations despite winning qualifying rounds.
In 2019, Quinn was part of Forward Gaming, played at the EPICENTER Major 2019, and ranked 9-12th. His team won the qualifiers for The International 2019 but suddenly lost its sponsor just before the tournament, so they entered with a short-term contract with Newbee under whose flag they earned 9-12th place and more than $680,000. Quinn began the next season with Quincy Crew. The team had a lot of victories at Tier-2 tournaments, after which they were signed by Soniqs. After a poor performance and a racist scandal with LESLAO, all players left the organization.
In December Quinn joins Gaimin Gladiators, where he replaces BOOM in the mid player position. The team starts to show fantastic and stable results. Winning Lima Major 2023, Berlin Major 2023, Bali Major 2023, DreamLeague Season 19 & 20. Among the serious achievements we should also mention top 4 at Riyadh Masters 2023, victory at BB Dacha 2023.
Towards the end of the year, Gaimin Gladiators takes 2nd place at The International 2023 and ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023. The player himself calls 2023 the best year of his career, as he has the best group of friends and support he has ever had.
