Bio
Quinn, also known as CCnC, is a professional Dota 2 player from the United States, who plays in the middle lane. He is currently playing for Gaimin Gladiators and is considered to be one of the best mid players not only in the region but also in the world. His achievements include a top-8 finish at The International 2018 and regular high placements at major tournaments.
Quinn started playing Dota 2 in 2012 and tried his hand at the pro level three years later, playing for FDL@. As early as 2016, he had already placed third in the Dota 2 Canada Cup Season 7 and made it into the top-eight participants at the Summit 5. Quinn continued to compete in the North American region and won the Dota 2 BEAT Invitational - Season 8 with Team Freedom and placed second at DreamLeague Season 7 NA Division. During this time, his unfavorable comments towards mason drew the public's attention, culminating in him losing to mason at The International 2017 qualifiers.
Quinn gained international recognition with OpTic Gaming: young mid-player alongside ppd, zai, Pajkatt and MiSeRy (later 33) placed 2nd at ROG MASTERS 2017, entered the top-8 at both The Bucharest Major and Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, won "silver" at ESL One Birmingham 2018 and ultimately placed 7-8th at The International 2018, earning his team nearly $640,000. When the organization disbanded, Quinn joined paiN X. The team consisted mostly of North American players but competed in the South. Its former participants, known as Test123, were denied entry to The Chongqing Major due to regional violations despite winning qualifying rounds.
In 2019, Quinn was part of Forward Gaming, played at the EPICENTER Major 2019, and ranked 9-12th. His team won the qualifiers for The International 2019 but suddenly lost its sponsor just before the tournament, so they entered with a short-term contract with Newbee under whose flag they earned 9-12th place and more than $680,000. Quinn began the next season with Quincy Crew. The team had a lot of victories at Tier-2 tournaments, after which they were signed by Soniqs. After a poor performance and a racist scandal with LESLAO, all players left the organization.
In December Quinn joins Gaimin Gladiators, where he replaces BOOM in the mid player position. The team starts to show fantastic and stable results. Winning Lima Major 2023, Berlin Major 2023, Bali Major 2023, DreamLeague Season 19 & 20. Among the serious achievements we should also mention top 4 at Riyadh Masters 2023, victory at BB Dacha 2023.
Towards the end of the year, Gaimin Gladiators takes 2nd place at The International 2023 and ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023. The player himself calls 2023 the best year of his career, as he has the best group of friends and support he has ever had.
The start of the 2024 season was not so successful for the Gladiators. First fifth place at Betboom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22 and Elite League 2024, and then 12th at ESl One Birmingham 2024 and 7th at PGL Wallachia Season 1. However, the team managed to place 2nd at DreamLeague Season 23 and the 1win Series Summer. And at the Riyadh Masters 2024, Quinn with Gladiators picked up his first win in nine months for $1,500,000. In September of the same year, the team went to The International 2024, where they had previously received a direct invitation. The guys got to the grand finals, where they met Team Liquid, but lost the meeting with a score of 3-0, taking an honorable second place at the tournament.
In October, the team competed at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and DreamLeague Season 24, but was one of the first to be eliminated from both tournaments. The team later failed to qualify for ESL One Bangkok 2024 and finished 3rd at the 1win Series Dota 2 Fall. After that, GG competed at BLAST SLAM I, finishing in the top 6, and in February 2025, the team placed 9th at the FISSURE PLAYGROUND and was a finalist for BLAST SLAM II. At the DreamLeague Season 25 roster finished in 12th place. In March, the team competed at PGL Wallachia: Season 3, where they finished in 7th-8th place.
Later in March, as part of Gaimin Gladiators, participated in FISSURE Universe Ep.4, where the team managed to reach the grand final but was unable to claim the championship title, finishing in 2nd place.
In April, he stood in for Team Falcons at the ESL One Raleigh 2025 tournament. The team reached the playoffs but lost in the quarterfinals and exited the tournament, finishing in 5th–6th place.
On May 6, the team participated in BLAST SLAM III, finishing their run in the semifinals and placing 3rd–4th. At DreamLeague Season 26, GG finished in 5th place. Also in the summer, the team took 2nd place at PGL Wallachia Season 5.
In early July, the team participated in FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, where they performed poorly and failed to reach the playoff stage.
At the Riyadh Masters 2025 tournament, Gaimin Gladiators reached the playoff stage but lost their first match and exited the competition, finishing in 7th–8th place.
On August 2, 2025, Gaimin Gladiators were eliminated from Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi. The team finished in 5th place and earned $43,750.
In August, the organization announced its withdrawal from The International 2025 due to internal conflict within the roster.
On September 17, Quinn Quinn Callahan announced that he is retiring from his career and leaving Gaimin Gladiators.
