Valve updated the Dota 2 Staging Server for the first time in two months
On July 29, the developers of Dota 2 released an update for the game's Staging server. This indicates that a major update is coming soon.
Until today, the Dota 2 Staging Server was last updated on May 22, and on the 23rd, the “Spring Forward” update was released in the game. Prior to the release of the patch, the Staging Server and Experimental Server were updated regularly for seven days.
As a reminder, on July 29, 2024, the developers also updated the Staging server, and on August 1, patch 7.37 was released for Dota 2.
Based on the Experimental server updates that began on July 22 and today's Dota 2 Staging update, the release of content for The International 2025, or a gameplay update, is expected on August 1 or 8.
As CyberScore reported earlier, finargot commented on the active updates to the Dota 2 Experimental server.
