Tundra Esports, Heroic and Team Spirit eliminated from FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2

The first matches of the lower bracket playoffs at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 have concluded. As a result, Tundra Esports, Heroic, and Team Spirit were eliminated, finishing in 6th–8th place.

The day opened with a series between Tundra Esports and Team Falcons, which ended in a 2:1 victory for the Falcons. On the decisive map, Falcons’ carry Oliver skiter Lepko delivered an outstanding performance on Weaver, finishing the match with a 23–2–11 scoreline. On the first map, he also didn’t die once, playing Gyrocopter with 7–0–18.

Tundra Esports coach David MoonMeander Tan commented on the team’s performance:

Right now, everyone is trying to do everything on their own. I think we need to improve communication so everyone is on the same page. Sorry for the disappointment; we’ll try to do better.

In the second match of the day, Team Liquid faced Heroic. The first map lasted over 65 minutes and ended with Heroic’s defeat after two failed fights near their throne. On the second map, the South American team equalized the score, but Liquid claimed the decider.

Team Liquid carry Mike miCKe Vu played Dragon Knight in all three games, but despite the team’s victory, his personal performance was not impressive - in each match, the number of deaths exceeded the number of kills.

The final series of the day was between Team Spirit and Team Falcons, teams that have already faced each other multiple times in elimination matches. In head-to-head meetings, the Falcons maintain the lead with seven wins and three losses.

Once again, the series went to three maps and ended with Team Falcons winning 2:1. The first two games lasted less than 30 minutes, which is unusual for both teams, who tend to prefer longer matches. However, the decisive third map stretched to 71 minutes, adding intensity to the day’s finale.

FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 takes place from 23.10.2025 to 02.11.2025 in Belgrade, Serbia. Sixteen teams are competing for a total prize pool of $1,000,000. You can follow the tournament coverage in detail on our report.
