Tundra Esports become champions of BLAST SLAM V
The grand final of BLAST SLAM V was held between Tundra Esports, who defeated MOUZ the day before to secure their spot, and Team Yandex, who advanced by taking down OG and Team Falcons.
In the decisive match, Tundra Esports proved stronger, sweeping their opponent 3:0 and claiming the championship title along with $400,000 in prize money.
Across all three maps, Tundra dominated from start to finish, with many noting the clear difference in preparation between the teams. Tundra consistently banned Yandex’s key heroes, forcing them into less comfortable picks. Naga Siren, Templar Assassin, Marci, and Dragon Knight never made it through the draft. Meanwhile, Yandex repeatedly left Invoker open for Bozhidar bzm Bogdanov and Centaur Warrunner for Neta 33 Shapira.
It’s worth noting that Tundra have reached every final in the BLAST series, and this victory marks their fourth consecutive championship. Their only loss remains the grand final of the first event - BLAST SLAM I, where BetBoom Team came out on top.
