The International 2026: Invited Teams Announced
Valve has released the list of teams that have received invitations to The International 2026 and to the tournament qualifiers. Direct invites to TI15 went to Aurora Gaming, BetBoom Team, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, Xtreme Gaming, and Team Yandex. The information was posted on the official Dota 2 website.
The International 2026 will take place from 13.08.2026 to 23.08.2026 in Shanghai, China. The tournament’s starting prize pool is $1,600,000. The seven invited teams will be joined by nine teams from the qualifiers, which will take place from 15.06.2026 to 28.06.2026. This year, the Eastern and Western European qualifiers have been combined into a single European qualifier. Open qualifiers are scheduled for 09.06.2026 — 12.06.2026.

The TI15 group stage will take place from 13.08.2026 to 16.08.2026 using the Swiss system over five rounds, followed by five single-elimination matches. The remaining eight teams will take the stage, with matches taking place from 20.08.2026 to 23.08.2026.
In addition, the organizers of The International 2026 announced that ticket sales for the championship will begin at 10.06.2025 06:30.
