PARIVISION, Aurora, and Vici Gaming eliminated from FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2
The final day of the FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 group stage has come to an end. Following today’s matches, PARIVISION, Aurora Gaming, and Vici Gaming were eliminated from the tournament. The teams finished in 9th–11th place, each earning $15,000 in prize money.
PARIVISION, which kept its core roster for the new season, couldn’t handle the revamped Team Liquid lineup. The series ended 2–0 in favor of the “horses.” The first map was completely dominated by Liquid, while the second one was much closer — the Russian team fought hard and even managed to turn the tide several times but ultimately fell short.
The second match of the day featured Aurora Gaming versus MOUZ. The clash turned out to be much more intense. After trading wins on the first two maps, the deciding third game determined the outcome. It seemed Aurora had the upper hand, but the “mice” managed to pull off a comeback and secure the victory.
Remco Crystallis Arets deserves special mention. Currently on a trial period with MOUZ, he has already proven himself as a strong addition to the lineup. Playing Gyrocopter in the carry role, he died only once during the final map and became one of the key factors behind his team’s success.
The third series of the day ended with a victory for Heroic. The South American squad confidently defeated the newly formed Vici Gaming roster 2–1. The Chinese team performed well on the first two maps and even dominated the second one, but in the decisive game, Heroic completely took control and closed out the series without much trouble.
