Beastcoast and Nouns left PGL Wallachia Season 2
Beastcoast and Nouns left PGL Wallachia Season 2 after losing to Tundra Esports and Natus Vincere respectively. The teams finished in 5th-6th place and earned $60,000 each from the prize pool. The winners will meet in the next round of the playoffs lower bracket.
Beastcoast played its deciding series with Tundra Esports. The first map ended with a fairly clean victory for Beastcoast. However, in the second game, there was a real performance: Tundra Esports almost lost the game and was about to be eliminated from the tournament, but used the moment when the Peruvian team had no buybacks and destroyed the enemy ancient. It's worth noting that a similar attempt had been made earlier, but it was unsuccessful.
In the third map, Beastcoast played the same draft as in the second, but instead of Snapfire, they chose Phoenix. The British team showed more coordinated play with almost no mistakes, earning the right to stay in the tournament. Beastcoast didn’t want to give up without a fight, but unfortunately, they were still eliminated from the championship. The match ended with a score of 2-1.
Beastcoast roster:
- Yheremi Kerry payk Paucar Arroyo
- Luis Lumpy Villarreal
- Adrian Cespedes Wisper Dobles (stand-in)
- Yelstin elmisho Brayan
- Joel MoOz Mori Ozambela
Nouns met with Natus Vincere. The American team did not show a very good result, but they kept trying to find a way to get back into the game. NaVi took both maps, confidently defeating their opponent and never once losing even a fraction of their advantage. It is also worth noting the good performance of Bakyt Zayac Emilzhanov, who showed an excellent performance on Dark Willow in both games.
The final series of the tournament for Nouns turned out to be a complete failure. Thus, the "born to win" team reached the top 4 and will deservedly continue their participation in the championship. The series ended with a 2-0.
Nouns roster:
- Yuma Yuma Langlet
- Philipp Copy Buhler
- Nicolas Gunnar Lopez
- Rodrigo Lelis Lelis Santos
