Korb3n accused rostislav_999 of involvement in the smurf bans

Team Spirit's Dota 2 roster manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov commented on the wave of bans on professional players' smurf accounts. According to Belov, streamer Rostislav rostislav_999 Protasena is responsible for this. The manager shared his thoughts during a personal broadcast on Twitch.

Team Spirit manager Korb3n is sure that Protasenya was the "chemical element" that triggered the ban reaction, as he bought and created additional Steam accounts many times to play Dota 2, and also wrote a message on Reddit asking not to block him.

Dmitry Korb3n Belov is a Russian Dota 2 team manager who has worked with Team Empire and Team Spirit. He led Team Spirit to the championship at The International twice, in 2021 and 2023.

Rostislav rostislav_999 Protasena is a streamer from Belarus who gained popularity for his crazy and sometimes dangerous actions during live broadcasts, combining it with a demonstration of Dota 2 gameplay.

On January 17, Valve resumed purging Dota 2 from smurf accounts. As part of the new wave of bans, many esports players were left without additional profiles. During this, a similar blocking happened right during an official match, Mad Kings player Steven StingeR Vargas was banned, and his team was defeated on the second map with Thunder Awaken.
