The groups for The International 2024 become known
The organizers of The International 2024 have published the group stage seeding results, which will take place from September 4th to 5th. The information was posted on the tournament's official Twitter account.
The 16 teams were divided into 4 groups, which will compete in the Round Robin system, after that matches for seeding in the main stage of the championship will be played. The 1st place in Group A will choose its opponent from the 3rd and 4th places in Group B, and vice versa. The same format applies to Groups C and D. These BO3 series will determine who advances to the Upper and Lower Brackets. No one is eliminated.
Gaimin Gladiators, Xtreme Gaming, 1WIN and Heroic will face in Group A. These guys will “open” the championship and play matches first.
The next group consists of such teams as Tundra Esports, G2.Invictus Gaming, Talon Esports and Cloud9.
Group C looks like this: BetBoom Team, Nouns, Team Falcons and Team Zero.
The last group has the following seeding: Team Spirit, Team Liquid, Aurora Gaming, Beastcoast.
The International 2024 will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The championship will feature 16 teams. The prize pool of the event is over $2 million.
