FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 is an online Dota 2 championship that will take place from 29.01.2025 to 01.02.2025. Eight teams will compete for a total prize pool of $250,000.

The tournament will begin directly with the Playoffs stage, which will be played in a Double-elimination format. Based on the results of this stage, two teams will advance to the grand final, where they will fight for the championship title. All Playoffs matches will be played in a Bo3 format, while the grand final will be Bo5.

The final day of the tournament has come to an end, and we sum up the results.

In the lower bracket final, Team Spirit proved stronger than Team Yandex, securing a 2–0 victory and advancing to the grand final, where Aurora Gaming were already waiting.

The day before, the “dragons” failed to defeat Aurora, and this match became their chance for revenge. However, Aurora once again came out on top, winning the series 3–2 and claiming their first tournament title since the organization was founded in 2023.

Results of previous game days:

Day 1

On the first day of the playoffs, the upper bracket quarterfinals took place, with the exception of the match between Team Spirit and strongboys, which has been postponed until tomorrow. In the opening series of the day, Team Liquid defeated MOUZ 2-1, securing their place in the upper bracket semifinals. Team Yandex also advanced to the next round, easily defeating Power Rangers 2-0.

In the final match of the day, BetBoom Team, which was joined by former coach Anatoly Boolk Ivanov shortly before the tournament, unexpectedly lost to Aurora Gaming with a score of 2:1 and will now continue its journey in the lower bracket.

Day 2

The first teams to leave the tournament were strongboys, who lost to MOUZ, and Power Rangers, although PR was close to causing an upset and eliminating BetBoom Team, but BB managed to come back in the third map.

Team Spirit won both of today's series against strongboys and Team Liquid and will face Aurora Gaming, who sent Team Yandex to the lower bracket, in the match for a spot in the grand final.

Day 3

The penultimate day of the tournament has come to an end, and it’s time to sum up the results.

In the upper bracket final, Aurora Gaming confidently defeated Team Spirit with a 2:0 score and became the first finalist of the tournament, while the "Dragons" dropped to the lower bracket.

In the lower bracket quarterfinals, the first two elimination matches ended with victories for Team Yandex and Team Liquid, while their opponents MOUZ and BetBoom Team were eliminated from the tournament.

A match for a spot in the lower bracket final was also played, where Team Yandex proved stronger than Team Liquid and closed the series 2:0, knocking them out of the tournament.

Tomorrow, the final day of competition awaits us, and we will find out the name of the tournament champion.
