ESL One Bangkok 2024: format, schedule, results and bracket
ESL One Bangkok 2024 is a Dota 2 championship that will take place from 09.12.2024 to 15.12.2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. 12 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
The tournament will begin with a group stage played in a round-robin format. At the end of this stage, 8 teams will advance to the playoffs, while the others will be eliminated.
Group stage matches will be played in a Bo2 format, playoff matches in Bo3, and the grand final in Bo5. The bracket will follow a double-elimination system.

On the final day of the playoffs, two matchups took place. First, Team Liquid faced BetBoom Team in the lower bracket final and, after a tense battle, won 2-1. This victory allowed Liquid to advance to the grand final, where PARIVISION was already waiting for them.
Liquid started the series with a win but then failed to regroup and began dropping game after game. The final score was 3-1 in favor of PARIVISION, making them the tournament champions.
Notably, on the second and third maps, PARIVISION’s draft remained almost unchanged: Gyrocopter in the carry position, Invoker in mid, and Nyx Assassin for Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, while Liquid tried completely different heroes but failed and finished in second place.

NaVi, in turn, proved to be the weakest team, failing to win a single map.

The positions in Group A have not changed since yesterday. Thus, Team Falcons and AVULUS advanced to the upper bracket of the playoffs. Team Spirit and Shopify Rebellion will start their playoff run in the main stage of the tournament in the lower bracket. BOOM Esports and Natus Vincere eliminated from the championship.

In Group B, Team Liquid managed to overtake Gaozu on points and advanced to the playoffs of the event, while the Chinese team left ESL One Bangkok. Otherwise, the position of the teams is in line with yesterday's results.

Today, three matches were played. Shopify Rebellion, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, and Nigma Galaxy faced off in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs. As a result, Shopify Rebellion and Nigma Galaxy were eliminated from the tournament, while Team Liquid and Team Spirit advanced to the quarterfinals.
Team Liquid moved on to the next round, where they faced Team Falcons in a decisive match. The teams played three maps, after which Team Falcons were eliminated from the tournament. Team Liquid advanced to the lower bracket semifinals, where they will face the winner of the AVULUS vs Team Spirit series.
