Gaimin Gladiators' carry Anton dyrachyo Shkredov took part in the Tumannaya Analytica podcast with Aleksey Storm Tumanov where he shared the details about the situation with Erik tOfu Engel's US visa and the team's problems at The Riyadh Masters 2023.

The podcast was intense, a lot of interesting moments were told by dyrachyo, starting from his career in the teams from Eastern Europe to the results of Riyadh Masters 2023 for Gaimin Gladiators. Anton believes that the team had problems with draft picks, and Quinn Quinn Callahan's and Marcus Ace Hoelgaard's poor form also had an impact.

"People in the team are not stupid, they understand why we lost. Quinn – bad form, bad draft picks. Ace, who has 2,000 networth every game in the 10th minute. Everyone understands why we lost. Everyone is on chill anyway, no one was really depressed, we lost and so be it. We were rather exhausted that day. Frankly speaking, it was hard to play one match for 6 or 7 hours."

Besides the fact that the Riyadh Masters 2023 had DotaTV issues for online viewers, the players had even worse problems. Before each map, they had to wait 30 minutes to connect to the Dubai server and that's why dyrachyo says his team was exhausted. Also, this might have affected Talon Esports as well, as the team finished its game at 4 a.m. local time and the Lower Bracket final against Team Liquid started at 1 p.m.

"Our whole event, our games ended at 4am and the next series started at 1pm and I think Talon Esports didn't get enough sleep. I understand it was hard for them because of the Dubai servers. Think about it, you play BO3, the second one of the day and you wait half an hour before each map, trying to connect to the server. They just had bad luck, maybe it affected them in some way and they played badly. Okay, they played terrible, that particular game against Liquid."

There has been a lot of speculation that Gaimin Gladiators may be heading to The International 12 without tOfu. The story goes back a long time, about 6 years ago, before the German started his professional Dota 2 career.

"He had a tourist visa and at the border he said he was going to work. It's not a problem getting a visa, it's easier for Europeans to get a visa, everything is done online. But he can't do that because he's banned because of his mistake. If you have a tourist visa, you can't say you're going to make money in America. Otherwise you just get sent home. Tofu will apply, like me, through the embassy. He will get a visa, I just don't know about the timing."

The next tournament for Gaimin Gladiators will be the LAN-part of BetBoom Dacha 2023 in Yerevan, which will take place in early September. Gladiators won 3 Major events of the DPC 2023 season, 2 DreamLeague Seasons and finished in the 4th place at The Riyadh Masters 2023.

As Cyberscore reported earlier, Valve has drastically changed the format and schedule of The International 12.
