BLAST SLAM VI: Full tournament schedule revealed

Organizers have revealed the full schedule and details of the first Slam event of 2026 - BLAST Slam VI. The tournament will once again split teams into two groups, where the best teams advance directly to the playoffs, while the rest will fight through the Play-In stage for the remaining spots. The playoff stage will be held on LAN in Malta, with matches played in a studio in front of a live audience.

The event will feature 12 teams: eight will receive direct invites, three slots will be decided through regional qualifiers, and one more slot will be given to an invited team from the Americas. Among the confirmed invitees are the top four teams from BLAST SLAM IV - MOUZ, Tundra Esports, HEROIC, and Team Falcons. The remaining invites will go to the four best-performing teams at BLAST SLAM V.

Tundra Esports won BLAST SLAM IV, earning a direct invitation. In the grand final, the team defeated Team Falcons with a score of 3:2.

Details of the BLAST SLAM VI qualifiers

Open qualifiers will take place on January 2-3 in Europe, China, and Southeast Asia. Teams will play in a single-elimination format: early rounds are BO1 and semifinals are BO3, with teams reaching the final automatically advancing to the closed qualifiers.

Closed qualifiers will be held on January 4-5. Each region will feature eight teams: four from the open qualifiers and four invited. All matches are BO3, and only the winner earns a spot in the main event – BLAST Slam VI.

The main tournament will run from 03.02.2026 to 15.02.2026, with 10 teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool.

Currently, BLAST SLAM V is ongoing, with the playoffs starting on December 5. So far, only Team Falcons and Tundra Esports have successfully passed the group stage. The rest of the playoff participants will be determined by the end of today’s matches. Full coverage is available in our report.
