Just like at the PREMIER SERIES, the team won the tournament without losing a single series, but this time they lost one map to PlayTime.

- 1WIN Team — $25,000

Group Stage
Group A
Yellow Submarine became the undisputed leaders of the group, winning all of their matches and advancing directly to the playoff stage. Their toughest series was against 1win Team, where despite a 2:0 victory, each map lasted more than 60 minutes.
Alongside them, PlayTime (formerly paiN Gaming) also advanced after collecting enough points despite one loss. It is worth noting that before the tournament the roster competed without an organization under the name SA Rejects, and was only signed by a club shortly before the championship began.
Meanwhile, 1win Team and MOUZ will have to play in the second stage, where the final playoff slot will be decided.
Nemiga Gaming had the worst performance in the group, losing all of their series and being eliminated from the tournament.
Group B
Nigma Galaxy finished in first place in the group after winning all four of their series. Notably, every matchup for the team ended in a clean sweep.
Rekonix secured second place based on maps won and advanced to the playoffs together with Nigma.
Team Nemesis had a disappointing debut with their new roster, winning only one series. However, they still managed to win one more map in the group stage than Zero Tenacity. Thanks to this, Nemesis earned a chance to fight for a playoff spot, while Zero Tenacity were eliminated from the tournament.
Tomorrow, Nemesis and L1GA Team will face each other in the Decider stage, where it will be determined who advances further and who leaves the championship.
Decider stage
The Decider stage of 1W ESSENCE I has concluded, and all playoff participants are now known.
In the first match, 1Win Team faced Team Nemesis, and the outcome of the series turned out to be unexpected. Nemesis took the opening map after winning a difficult 60-minute game, but the following two maps became a complete disaster for the team. In both games, the roster managed to secure only six kills and failed to put up any real fight.
It is worth noting that the Southeast Asian roster was rebuilt just a week ago, and the team has likely not had enough time to build synergy yet.
In the second series of the stage, L1GA Team defeated MOUZ and eliminated them from the tournament. The first map lasted 70 minutes, with neither team holding a clear advantage for most of the game. Only near the end did L1GA manage to win several consecutive fights and close out the map in their favor.
The second map was the complete opposite and ended in just 29 minutes in favor of MOUZ. The Broodmother carry pick for L1GA player Illia ssnovv1 Kondrashov did not work out. On the deciding map, the team relied on a stable Lifestealer pick and secured the win with a KDA of 12-0-10.
As a result of the day, Team Nemesis and MOUZ were eliminated from the tournament, while the playoff stage will begin tomorrow.
Playoff
Day 1
The first day of the 1W ESSENCE I playoffs has concluded, and we are summing up its results.
The biggest surprise of the day was 1Win Team defeating Tundra Esports with a 2:1 score. It is worth noting that this was already Tundra’s fourth consecutive loss, while at the previous PGL Wallachia Season 8 the team finished in last place.
In the other matches, Rekonix swept Yellow Submarine, while PARIVISION confidently defeated L1GA Team. PlayTime also impressed with a solid 2:0 victory over Nigma Galaxy.
In the first days after patch 7.41c, some teams adapted to the changes much faster, while others continue relying on old heroes. For example, Nigma picked Beastmaster twice despite the hero receiving significant nerfs in the latest update.
Tomorrow, the first elimination matches await us.
Day 2
The second day of the 1W ESSENCE I playoffs has concluded, and it is time to summarize the results.
In the lower bracket, Yellow Submarine defeated Tundra Esports 2:0. Many consider the Lone Druid ban against Tundra to be the key to victory, although the last time the team played the hero was back at PGL Wallachia Season 8, where they finished in last place while using a stand-in.
L1GA Team also failed to overcome Nigma Galaxy, losing 0:2 and leaving the tournament.
1Win Team comfortably defeated Rekonix and advanced to the upper bracket final, where they will face PARIVISION, who earlier sent PlayTime to the lower bracket.
It is also worth noting that Largo and Lone Druid currently have some of the highest win rates at the tournament, with the heroes losing only once across eight games.
Tomorrow, we will find out the first grand finalist of the tournament, while three more teams will end their run.
Day 3
The upper bracket final ended with a confident victory for PARIVISION over 1win Team by a score of 2:0. The roster of Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko became the first grand finalist of the tournament.
It is worth noting that earlier in the playoffs, 1Win were the team that sent Tundra Esports to the lower bracket, after which Tundra were eliminated from the event.
In the lower bracket, Nigma Galaxy defeated REKONIX without major difficulties, while PlayTime proved stronger than Yellow Submarine and advanced further.
In the final series of the day, the South American roster swept Nigma and advanced to the lower bracket final. The teams had already faced each other in the first round of the upper bracket, and the result was repeated once again.
Special attention should be given to the preparation of Elvis Scofield De la Cruz Peña’s team. In both series against Nigma, the roster banned Phoenix, Lone Druid, and Io — heroes with which Nigma have an excellent win rate.
In addition, the team found an answer to Kez, who appeared in every map of the series and currently holds over a 60% win rate at the event.
