Deso is the shortened name for the artifact Desolator in Dota 2. This item was named "Stygian Desolator" in Dota, a reference to an item from Anarchy Online. This name is now used by an upgraded version of the Desolator, which drops as a neutral item.
This item significantly increases the hero's physical damage with a +50 damage bonus and a passive effect that reduces enemies' armor after each attack.
