Bio
Maroun GH Merhei is a professional player from Lebanon who plays on the fourth position.
He started his career in 2013 with Wired Gaming, where he showed excellent results and persistence. The player's efforts did not go unnoticed and he was invited to DreamLeague Season 6 as a substitute for Team Liquid. The team won the tournament, after which GH was signed to the main roster.
In his new team, the player really came into his own, becoming one of the top semi-support in the world. Team Liquid finished the season with a string of victories, earning them a direct invitation to The International 2017. At the tournament itself, the team emerged victorious, earning over $10 million. In the seasons that followed, Team Liquid continued to put up excellent results, but TI was no longer an option. At The International 2019, the team finished second and decided to create their own tag - Nigma Galaxy.
During the Pandemic, GH became the champions of WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon, WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 and OGA Dota PIT Season 2: EU/CIS. However, things went downhill for the team later on. At the ESL One Germany 2020, ESL One Summer 2021 and ESL One Malaysia 2022, Team Liquid finished 7th-8th, at the Riyadh Masters 2022 they finished 5th and at the BetBoom Dacha 2023 they finished 8th.
- December 20, 2023 - Nigma Galaxy moved GH to the reserves.
The year 2024 started for the player with an appearance at PGL Wallachia: Season #1 for Shopify Rebellion, where the guys finished 11th. And in May the player returned to the main roster of Nigma. Maroun played at FISSURE Universe Ep.2 and 1win Series Summer, but didn't even make it into the top 3, and also failed to qualify for The International 2024 and Riyadh Masters 2024.
In August, Nigma Galaxy participated in the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational. In the tournament, the team showed decent results and eventually placed 3rd.
In October, the team finished 14th at PGL Wallachia Season 2, failing to advance from the group stage. At DreamLeague Season 24, the roster suffered the same fate. Later, Nigma competed at the 1win Series Dota 2 Fall, where they finished in 6th place and placed 6th at ESL One Bangkok 2024.
2025 Nigma started with a third place finish at BLAST SLAM II. In March, Nigma competed at PGL Wallachia Season 3, finishing in 13th place. In April, the team competed at ESL One Raleigh 2025 but was eliminated in the first playoff match. Later, the team traveled to Bucharest for PGL Wallachia Season 4 but was defeated by NAVI Junior in the group stage and finished in 14th place. At DreamLeague Season 26, the roster finished in 7th place. At PGL Wallachia Season 5 Nigma was one of the first to be eliminated.
In early July, the team participated in FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, where they performed poorly and failed to reach the playoff stage.
On August 2, 2025, Nigma Galaxy was eliminated from Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi. The team finished in 6th place and earned $43,750.
In September, Nigma Galaxy participated in The International 2025 where they managed to reach the playoffs but lost in the lower bracket and exited the tournament, finishing in 5-6th place. October 8, Nigma Galaxy announced that GH had decided to take a break from professional gaming. But in December, GH returned to Nigma.
At DreamLeague Season 27, Nigma finished their performance in the group stage with a score of 3-3.
At the end of March, the roster competed at ESL One Birmingham 2026, where the team finished at the bottom of the standings. However, at the following PREMIER SERIES, the roster showed excellent form, reaching the grand final, where they lost to PARIVISION and finished in 2nd place.
The team also secured 4th place at another online tournament 1W ESSENCE I, which served as a solid warm-up before DreamLeague Season 29.
