Bio
Larl is a Russian professional Dota 2 player who plays in the second position.
Denis' professional career began when he joined Team Generation at the end of 2020, with whom he managed to qualify for ESL One CIS Online Season 1. Before the start of the tournament, the team becomes the second lineup of Virtus.pro - VP.Prodigy. After the completion of the first round of the regional league, the team leaves the tournament ranked 7th in the standings.
In March 2021, Larl tried to qualify for ESL One Eastern Europe Online Season 2 as part of VP.Prodigy, but the team failed, after which Denis was sent to inactivation.
Larl returned to the professional scene only in February 2022, when he joined Winstrike Team, replacing Dodren in the second position. This team manages to qualify for the top division of the DPC league for Eastern Europe from second place. In April 2022, the Winstrike Team organization disbanded its Dota 2 roster, and a short time later it was signed by BetBoom Team.
BetBoom Team makes a loud statement by winning the Winline Dota 2 Champions League Season 9, defeating Gambit Esports.
At the end of 2022, Team Spirit signed Denis to replace TORONTOTOKYO in the second position.
Although the team showed great results, taking prizes at the main tournaments of the season, such as Riyadh Masters 2023 and DreamLeague Season 21, Larl showed mixed performance in his position, which caused discontent among the fans of the squad. But thanks to his determination, which was noted by his teammates, Denis with Team Spirit managed to reach the grand finals of The International 2023 and become the champion of the main Dota 2 tournament.
The next year didn't start off so well for Spirit. First, 6th place at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and 4th place at DreamLeague Season 22, DreamLeague Season 23 and 1WIN Series Spring, then 13th at Elite League 2024 and 10th at ESl One Birmingham 2024. However, the team managed to come together and show a great result at PGL Wallachia Season 1, taking 1st place there, defeating Xtreme Gaming in the final with a score of 3:2. However, in the summer, the team failed to handle Xtreme in the grand finals of the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational. Spirit also finished 7th at Riyadh Masters 2024, unexpectedly losing to PSG Quest in the lower bracket of the playoffs, and won the 1win Series Summer.
Team Spirit finished 9-12 at The International 2024, losing to Xtreme Gaming in the lower bracket of the playoffs. Later Larl competed an updated roster at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, where he finished in 4th place. After that, Team Spirit participated in DreamLeague Season 24, taking the honorable 3rd place and was a finalist at the 1win Series Dota 2 Fall. At BLAST SLAM I, the collective failed, placing 9th-10th, and at ESL One Bangkok 2024 Spirit finished at 4th place.
In February, the updated team also performed at FISSURE PLAYGROUND, where they also took 4th place. In March, the updated roster secured its first victory at DreamLeague Season 25, defeating Tundra Esports with a score of 3-2. Later that month, the team placed in the top-4 at PGL Wallachia: Season 3. A little later, the team participated in FISSURE Universe Ep.4 , where they lost in the second round of the lower bracket and finished in 6th place. In April, Team Spirit became a finalist of ESL One Raleigh 2025, where they lost to PARIVISION 1:3.
Later, at the end of April, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 4, where they lost in the quarterfinals of the lower bracket playoffs and left the tournament, finishing in 5th-6th place.
In May 19, 2025, the team was scheduled to participate in DreamLeague Season 26 however they withdrew. A bit later, the team participated in BLAST SLAM III, finishing their run in the semifinals and placing 3rd-4th. In the summer, Spirit competed at PGL Wallachia Season 5 and finished in 4th place. In July, the team became a two-time champion of the Riyadh Masters tournament series as part of the Esports World Cup 2025, defeating Team Falcons in the grand final with a score of 3-0.
In August, Larl missed the FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 tournament due to health reasons. At The International 2025, the two-time world champions suffered a sensational defeat. The Dragons failed to even reach the playoffs. The team lost to Team Falcons in an elimination match in the group stage.
At the end of October, Spirit participated in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where they finished in 6th–8th place after losing in the second round of the Playoff stage.
In November, Spirit competed at BLAST SLAM IV, where they reached the playoffs but lost in the quarterfinals, finishing in 5th–6th place. In the subsequent PGL Wallachia Season 6, Team Spirit reached the final but unexpectedly lost to MOUZ in the final match.
At DreamLeague Season 27, Team Spirit delivered a solid performance and reached the grand final. However, the team failed to defeat Team Yandex in the title match.
At the beginning of 2026, Denis Larl Sigitov went on leave and returned only in early March. At PGL Wallachia Season 7, the team finished in the top 4.
At ESL One Birmingham 2026, the team placed 5–6th, reaching the playoff stage.
Due to constant roster changes, the team failed to finish in the top 6 at the online tournament PREMIER SERIES and did not receive a share of the prize pool. At the following LAN event, PGL Wallachia Season 8, the team reached the playoffs but was eliminated in the first round, finishing 7–8.
